Couldn't really get more local than this great simple Tapas and a decent bottle of red sat out on the street watching the Saturday night fun.
Two local lads playing Guitar and singing not the best double act but entertaining all the same.
I had three tapas, the russian salad, fried goats cheese with jam, and tuna patties - they were generous portions. My wife had the mushroom omelette. The only thing we didn't like was the collared doves on empty tables picking up crumbs - a possible...health hazard?More
This may not look much from the outside but we got a very friendly welcome and the food was very tasty. The goat's cheese, Russian salad, prosciutto and Canarian potatoes were the highlights. Good sangria too. The photo sums up how this place made us...feel.More
What a great place this is! Such a treat to find a brilliant local bar! Tonight was our third visit...the bar was packed but a lovely local lady gave up her seat for us and we spent the rest of the evening listening to the...boss and various locals playing the most amazing music, eating the most delicious food and drinking good wine, coffee and brandy. Looking forward to spending a lot more time here in our final three weeks holiday!
The most friendly bar in Morro Jable! Highly recommended.More
From the outside bar parada looks rather bare, just a few tables on the pavement. Inside is very small, so outdoors is definitely the place to be. The customers were mainly locals, all the tourists were on the other side of the road. But a...friendly welcome, prompt service, and the food was very authentic, traditional dishes, piping hot. Not what I expected of tapas, each was a meal in itself. The goat stew was meaty and tasty, the garlic prawns sizzled and bubbled, the chips were homemade ‘real’ chips, goats cheese and black currant a strangely delicious mix, and the tuna patties, delicious. Highly recommended if you want to avoid the tourist scene.More
I had to write a second review after last year. This is mainly because after leaving my wallet last year I gave the bartender 20 euro for my drinks and omitted to get the change time. Shortly before leaving the chap presented me with the...money! That in itself is a recommendation. Nice place to sit outside and they do food. It is very pleasant and locals frequent it. It is also very reasonably priced. Recommended ( again! )More
As the title says: This bar ist authentical Spanish! The tapas are "old school": tasty, inexpensive, well done. The service is friendly and quick, no hypocritical "tourist show" as at other places in Morro Jable.
