Great pub on the outskirts of Street. Well kept beers, including Butcombe. Popular at lunchtimes so booking advised. Good varied menu, and lunchtime platters at sensible prices.. Preferable to any other Street pubs any day.

Eaten in the evening twice now at The Elms - and the food has been outstanding both times. Lovely candlelit atmosphere - and great to see them supporting local producers with fresh food nod Butcombe Bitter. However - last night was quiet - come on...More

It is easy to drive past The Elms. The place looks uninviting. But the owners have made a stop worthwhile. We booked for Sunday lunch and were impressed. The only food bought in is the ice cream and it showed. We will certainly return.

A good traditional english pub. The landlord certainly knows his beer and there is a good choice of food on the menu.

We met here for lunch and had the pensioners menu which we found extremely good value. I had the hotpot which wasn't so good but my wife had fish which was fine. We have met here before, about a month ago and my meal was...More
