Wandered past this and didn't notice it the first time. Then tried it and loved it. The seating is mainly outdoors, so there may be kids playing nearby and you will see the traffic ambling past, but that's part of the harbour ambience. The food is traditional Greek but the principle is more Turkish, i.e. come into the kitchen and... More

While strolling on the front in Argostoli. We came across The Taverna Patsoras, which is in the old bus terminal. It's a little gem. We were invited in to see what food was being cooked that day. Once upon a time this happened all the time, but this tradition seems to be disappearing, so it was a lovely reminder of... More

Went to Patsoulis this evening and blown away by quality of the food and service. You choose from the counter inside in the Greek way and can mix and match to your taste. We had cheese pie, pork chop ,stuffed pepper. All delicious and hot to boot! Anastasia the waitress is just lovely, so friendly and very good English. With... More

Patsouras has moved! It's on waterfront more or less between the two fruit markets. You look inside and point to what you would like. We had the spinach pie and greek salad. They brought fresh apple slices with strawberries, orange slices dusted with cinnamon and drizzled with Kefalonian honey. We were amazed at how cheap it was, the service was... More

What a great restaurant! The staff is so welcoming and friendly. The food amazing. We went twice and had both meat dishes and fish. The moussaka was very good, the fasolakia (green beans) and the fish was delicious. Highly recommend this nice restaurant, for a meal you will not forget!

Perfect Cannelloni and Mousaka!! It was the best restaurant, we've been on Kafelonia. What's more it was easy to find it.

Had lunch at this canteen style eatery. Instead of browsing a menu you simply go up to the counter and look at all the dishes that have been cooked and are on display, a waitress will tell you what all the different dishes are. My only criticism is that there aren't enough non-meat based dishes here. There was only one... More

Stayed in Kefalonia for a week and ate travelled from Svoronata to Argostolis twice to eat at this restaurant after being recommended by a local. The food is delicious and authentic yet so simply cooked. I recommend the baked seabream which was stunning... the fish was so tender and fell off the bone and was flavoured so delicately with garlic... More

Very simple setting, but very good home made Greek food. The guy is honest, and he prefers to say that he does not have some items from the menu today instead of serving yesterday's food. While sitting there observed many Greeks who just stopped by to get some food for home - for me it is the best proof that... More

Rather than read the menu, just take a look in the display cabinet to see what's cooking today. Order by sight rather than title! Great selection of home cooked food with Large Portions and Low Prices. Take away service
