Great food, traditional Greek environment, Excellent stuff. Best restaurant in Argostolion, one of the best I visited in Greece.

We ate at this place last week and had one of the best pasta dishes ever! Rosa, the lady owner was very friendly and has a great sense of humour being a Greek New Yorker! Thanks for a great evening with good service.

The staff were lovely and friendly, but the food was extremely disappointing! It was far too salty, and full of oil. I was looking forward to this place because of the reviews on trip advisor. I couldn't eat my meal, in the end the staff were very apologetic and the meal was taken off the bill.

We have been there twice with my family and both times we got friendly service, simple but good food. We had fried kalamari (which was one of the best I tried on island) as well as seabass. All was well cooked and had a decent bill. I reco this place.

We visited this place 3 times and 3 times we waited more than one hour each dinner to be served, the octopus was more than salty as well as vegetables systematically and the only word pronounced by the staff was ' patience ' as they were absolutely not able to service all the guests in terms of capacity and resources... Went with friends for evening meal. Had lovely Greek salad for starter. All ingredients so fresh. Then joined at a small plate of crispy calamari . My main dish was a large sea bass - cooked to perfection, lovely white flakes of fish with crispy caramel blackened skin. The taste was great. My wife had large prawns and with some... More

The lovely Rosa is your host at the Portside Taverna, where you can choose from a good selection of classic Greek dishes, alongside pasta dishes. It was so lovely here, we came twice in one week, enjoying seafood pasta, pork souvlaki, fritto misto, plus some great desserts, a mega banana split, and the quite rightly commended banana and chocolate milkshake.... Having read so many positive reviews we actively sought out this restaurant while visiting Argostoli. The meal started off well with grilled peppers and delicious mushrooms in cream sauce and a very friendly waitress... But we hadn't even finished our starters when they plonked down the main course! Wasn't nice to feel the meal was being so rushed. Anyway, Hubby... More
