Flavours were good, not great. Fruit flavours are sorbet but were not described as such (seemed like they were gelato).

Although this isn't the oldest location, the ice cream is the same as always.
Very good, not the cheapest, but I love it.

Santini has a long history in the craft ice cream industry that dates back to the 50’s. It was bought by a company a few years ago and it started a new life but always kept the quality of natural ingredients and the end product is delicious and varied in flavors. You can eat in or take it home in specially designed styrofoam or cork isotherm box. The service is always friendly and helpful.

Their fresh ingredients make a difference. Get the fruit flavors, even some chocolate flavors are very good. A small costs 2 euro and can get 2 flavors. I chose a medium and had 3 different scoops of Gelato...was perfect and cost 3 Euros.

Santini are a family from north Italy that came to Portugal long time ago, around the WW2. The Patriarch is no more, and a few years ago the business was sold to a large vision entrepreneur. Gelato are still very good, with a little bit more of sugar, but now with a big variety of flavors, many experimental. Well served and attentive - if they see you throw away an half cone, they will insist in get you another flavor that you like more than that one (it happens!). But you can always ask for taste some flavors before decide. The secret to not be in the long lines to pay is to buy a card with 10 serves of whatever the size you prefer, and you can skip the line with all the family straight to the counter.

The ice cream and waffles are nice, service is average (not outstanding, not bad).
We were a family of 8 (2 families) which, as you can imagine was quite expensive for dessert here, but we were on holiday, so....
For eating in, there was a little finesse missing for us, dollop of ice cream on a waffle...no bother of presentation...whipped cream on the side or chocolate sauce/nuts for example.
Was nice to try once, but wouldn't go back for it was expensive for what it was

I stopped by at about 16.00 for an ice cream and the parlour was busy with children, some parents and flirting teens. The staff were friendly and helpful. This well known brand of ice cream is delicious and is, I’m told, manufactured nearby. I had one scoop each of chocolate and mango from a small selection. Pistachio, my favourite, wasn’t available. I suspect the range on offer increases as the weather improves.

Santini is an Italien that came to Cascais 50 tears ago and begun to sell ice cream. People from Lisbon and around came to Cascais sometimes only for the ice cream. Now they open a factory and sell point at Carcavelos, and a lot of people are coming for the Italian ice cream. The quality 's very good and the place is nice. Not cheap but affordable.
