This restaurant servers reasonable food at a fairly high price. Best known for its beer which is quite well thought of. Service generally good. If you're a beer drinker, this is a Must go establishment. Noisy.

Not your typical club sandwich. Instead of bread it was in between two pieces of cheese pizza. It was really good. Oh and the Blu Zin wine was WONDERFUL. Had a great time and the gift store has lots of choices.

Hubby enjoyed the beer tastings (nice 4oz+ portions for $2 or less each) while we shared an order of the seafood hushpuppies, which came in a large portion and were tasty and filling. We both ordered the halibut filet, which came on mashed potatoes surrounded by a garlic-cream sauce and a generous portion of mini-scallops. It was one of the... More

We were a party of 9 from the southern United States. The restaurant appears to be fairly new and is clean and neat. Like any rural Alaska venue, the parking lot is not paved, so can be messy if wet, but not a major issue. Each of us thought our varied meals were excellent, especially the halibut. They have many... Our Alaskan adventure turned into a Brewery tour of Alaska. Silver gulch had the widest selection of home brewed beers as well as the largest selection of available beers we've seen here in Alaska. We are here twice. One at dinner and sat at the bar chatted up the bartender and a few of our neighbors and had a great... More

Off the beaten path. A little harder to find. It was crowded. If I did not know better it looked like a southern road house to me. But it had no dancing... The beers are many, the food is mostly of the fried variety. I liked it but was not impressed with the food on the tasty scale. Might go... More

On our second trip to Fairbanks, we stopped again for dinner with a friend at Silver Gulch Brewery. The beer selection is wonderful (as it should be for a brewery). We shared a shrimp appetizer, a pizza, and the nachos. The food was good, and plentiful, and the service was friendly.

The beer offerings were great. A nice variety of homemade standards plus a diverse list of seasonals. They even offer tasters so you can find your favorite. We took a growler home of a great seasonal. The food was good but not spectacular. The problem was it took a really long time. I'm talking 90 minutes for us to get... More

We loved this place so much, I think it was our most visited restaurant on the trip. You have to stop in for a beer and good food on your way up the Dalton Highway... and again on your way back down of course... They have good beer, and LOTS of it!!! They have a great selection of their own... More
