First night in town for our family vacation, we were looking for dinner. After doing a search on google maps, looking for a Stromboli, we came across Genovesa Italian Café. About 7:15pm on a Saturday, our party of 6 was seated right away. We found...the staff friendly and informative about the menu choices. We ordered garlic cheese bread, Italian wedding soup, medium pepperoni pizza, meat Stromboli, cheese calzone, meatball parmesan sandwich and sausage with green pepper and onions. All of the food was fresh and the quality was amazing. The one thing that we did find disappointing is everyone’s food came out at the same time except one. This was addressed by our waitress, saying that his food will be right out, but after we were halfway done with our meal, the food was still not out. It did come out shortly after it was brought to attention again and he was not charged for his meal. Overall, I would recommend Genovesa Italian Café, if you are in the Daytona Shores Beach area.More
RUN DON’T WALK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
We usually love this place but tonight was a rude awakening. The female Owner met us at the door and refused to seat my party of 5 and she was super belligerent. She wanted to split us up ridiculously at...2 tables that were spread 10 feet apart and refused to put an extra seat at the end of the table which was still make us 6 feet from the nearest table!!!!
Really, especially after what governor D’Santos said today about lightening up the Covid restaurant restriction. This place took it to a NEW YORK level. I guess she doesn’t want the business.
They are Soooo stupid. Do they not see that there are 100 other restaurant that are within a 5 mile radius????? I GUESS they don’t need to make any money. Run don’t walk away from this place or expect the rath of belligerence. We are locals who will not return.More

I'm sorry that your experience was not what you expected. While the rules for COVID-19 have been relaxed (that day actually), we are still trying to reconfigure our seating to make both our customers and staff feel safe. We have a small dining area and...More
Our second time getting takeout as the food is excellent. We got the feta salad, chicken parm, bread with mozzarella cheese and some other things. Sauces and dressings all freshly prepared. Salad was fresh and tasty. Fair prices for quality food. Excellent and they deliver!
My hubby and I enjoyed delicious meals here! I had manicotti and it was incredible! He had chicken parm and spaghetti. His noodles were al denti and he likes it a little more tender but other than that, the meal was perfection. Salad and bread...were delicious too!More
I ordered the chicken Alfredo to be delivered to my hotel. It arrived pipping hot and delicious! There was a huge portion, enough for two! Also included a nice side salad and bread. Prices were very reasonable and delivery was free! Will definitely order from...there again!More
We had dined here in the past while on vacation and found the service to be less than desirable. We now order pizza to-to and it works great. We did this on our last night of vacation last week and the 2 pizzas were OUTSTANDING....Total for both was $49.
The 6 of us devoured them. This is now a tradition for our family. Last night of the trip stay at the beach late and get pizza to-go.
Warning there was 1 1/2 wait time for the pizzas to be ready so order accordingly or make sure everyone is aware of the time.More

Thank you so much! Next time you're in town, I think you should try and dine in again. We've really stepped up our service game in our dining room. I'm glad you were happy with your pizzas. Yes, the ordering time can be longer on...More
