We were looking for a good place to go to relax after a long day at a work event. The interior was dark and gloomy. The food was just ok....and I thought it was overpriced for what it was. We really had high hopes for this location - but were mildly disappointed. Maybe during a busier... read more

This restaurant is one of our absolute favorites!!-Everything was delicious and hot! I tried the Fritters good the first time they were scrumptious! The service never disappoints especially when Melvin serves us!! McLoone's never disappoints! I can't wait for Spring so we can dinner on the terrace. I am definitely telling my family and friends about McLoone's!!

Large pure (no filling) crab cakes with sweet potato puree (great contrast) and spinach; bruschetta was 4 large pieces with crab cake-tomatoes, enough for four people; salads are large --ask for small one to go with main meal, can add-on crab cake for $10. Bread dipping is wonderful tomato chopped up with oil. Nice setting by water, view of national... More

We had a great meal and service was excellent. I would recommend the crab cakes. Expect to drop about $150 for 2 with meal and drinks.

Not many people in the restaurant when we arrived. Waitress was slow getting to us, taking drink order, and bringing drinks to us. Had to ask for bread. We both chose the filet, but it was more like stew meat and was NOT like any filet we had ever had. Not a place we would ever go back to.

My salad was fine (ordinarily would be a 3); however, the money-related matters were terrible. My salad was $10.95. I requested to replace greens with spinach and was told that would be an additional $4. I consented--still strange given I have done this in other places-not an issue. So here is the peculiar money handling. First I provided the server... More

Came here for my anniversary dinner. I had researched restaurants at the National Harbor and many were either too casual or much much more than I wanted to pay. This had both hot/cold reviews but was moderately priced for the location, it was right on the water just as I wanted to be so I took the chance. The location... More

McLoone's is located at the National Harbor and offers a great view of the Ferris Wheel on one side. There is an outside deck, but being inside on a cold, windy November night prevented us from enjoying that option. Our waiter was very helpful and provided plenty of suggestions, the food arrived quickly and was great. I had the Sunset Salmon... More

McLoons National Harbor offers all that. It is located right on the Harbor offering one of my he best views of all time he restaurants located there. There is a wonderful outdoor deck. The food was excellent. American fare, in the high medium price range. Service was what you would expect in an upscale restaurant. The overall atmosphere lends its... More
