We are locals from Northern Virginia and suburban Maryland looking for a half-way place, so we agreed on Old Hickory. First, the food is good. However, they still have not resolved the noise level problem. We were at the edge of the room (not surrounded by tables) and still had trouble hearing each other. We were offered cheese as an... Four of us dined here before a work meeting. Honestly, for this pricing the waitress was awful. We ordered a bottle of Chardonnay and 20 minutes later she comes back and says that they don't have the Chardonnay anymore. I said okay are you going to give us the next bottle of Chardonnay for the same price and she laughs... More

The food was delicious, cooked to our desire, reasonable price, great staff, great atmosphere. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

The restaurant is well decorated and there is a lot of attention to details. Food is nice but the major drawback is the service. The expectation from this type of restaurants is that waiters will know how to serve food and wine, and that was not the case at Old Hickory.

Ate at the bar which was very nice. Had a filet and cowboy ribeye. Both were phenomenal. Best side dish is the mac-n-cheese. Can't go wrong with it. Tried the Brussel sprouts and was pleasantly surprised. Always a stop while at the Harbor.

Stayed at the Gaylord National Harbor for the weekend with my family. We made dinner reservations on a Saturday night for 9:00pm Our server was really nice but he may have had a hearing problem and there wasn't much attention given to our table. He started off with water for the table and asked if we'd like something off the... More

Had a great meal there (salmon in a caper sauce). I couldn't speak of the value since it was paid for by a vendor, but great service and good drinks.

Located in the Gaylord at National Harbor, this is a classic steakhouse that's rather expensive. Service is very good and pretty attentive. Steak was cooked perfectly and the waiter ensured that I didn't over order. Wine list is decent with medium to high end wines.
