We enjoyed a crab cake appetizer that was served with a nice arugula salad as well as a sweet corn dish. Delicious Dover Sole and a Filet Mignon and very nicely prepared grilled asparagus. The rest of the menu looked good too. Several different cuts...More

Very good food and a well informed wine steward. Grilled park chop was a hit but the steaks looked great.

We had a family gathering here. I had the Cowboy Ribeye medium rare. It was okay, but nothing like Capital Grill or Ruth's Chris. So don't expect that quality beef although they charge the same price. Two people in our party had birthdays and they...More

The Old Hickory Steakhouse did not cheapen itself on Mother's Day by changing its hours. It opened at 5:30pm and missed the enormous rush of families wanting o have lunch. This restaurant is special with a fantastic rustic yet elegant appearance that clearly caters to...More

Shrimp cocktail was 24$ for 4 shrimp, most steaks in the mid to high 40$ range. Nothing comes on the plate as an extra, each item is an additional charge. Add Asparagus for 12$, add french fries for $12, add brussel sprouts for $12 -...More

Was treated to dinner at this location by our company owner. Very upscale and classy, yet welcoming and relaxing. Great Wine selection, just ask your server for the perfect pairing.

Ate there 2 nights in a row. Once in the dining room, the next night in the bar area. Same kitchen, same food. Excellent and helpful staff. Great choices, big portions. Not cheap but all salads and sides should be shared.

Reservation for 7:45. Sat down at 8:15. Waiting at least 15 minutes for server. Order drinks and appetizers. Long wait for appetizers. We ordered food and ate. Once appetizers left the table we waited for dinner. Dinner was great. Ordered desert she said it would...More

I had the crab cake and filet special. The crab cake was delicious but the filet was not. It was tough and chewy, not acceptable for a steakhouse. It is a lovely restaurant and the service was very good. But for the price, I expected...More

I was working in a convention on-site and struggling with a bad cold. All I wanted was some soup to go to take to my room. I ordered French Onion Soup here and the server (bartender) was very kind. Soup was delicious - just what...More

Why don't you try calling the Gaylord concierge? The restaurant opens close to dinner time so I could see having trouble reaching someone during the day. I needed to change my reservation before they restaurant opened and the nice lady at the concierge desk helped me.

I cannot get hold of anyone in their restaurant or at the hotel to arrange a large group private dinner! I have left 3 voice mails and no one calls back. Has anyone else had this problem? The restaurant doesn't have it's own phone number (or if it does it isn't easy to find) and now today I call the hotel and the call drops after 3 rings. How frustrating!!

I would try the Gaylord Hotel first. Alternatively, I have made my reservations on opentable.Although since you say you need to make reservations for a large group I would call the hotel.
