Their specialty is guacamole, but my wife's brisket tacos were pretty darn good too. I had the three enchiladas, but we decided that her entrée was better. Salsa was tasty, and the sides of refried black beans and Spanish rice were also nicely prepared.

It's been a year since I visited this establishment and the food quality has totally gone down hill. The guacamole made table side was the only redeeming dish. Their version of beef fajitas was gummy and completely over cooked, the seafood ceviche (which used to be a standout) was boring and yes, "over cooked" - the shrimp was tough and... More

The food is fresh and delicious, with wonderful views of the harbor and jumbotron screen if you happen to want to catch the ball game.

The place was packed so I thought the food was good. My sister and cousin had tacos. My niece had quesideos and I had nachos. The food was not good. We took it to good and was disappointed when we got to the hotel. The tacos hardly had any meat and my nachos we stuck together at the top with... More

Nice atmosphere. Not bad Mexican food, portions could be a little larger for the prices. Great drinks.

Enjoyed dinner with my family. Everyone ordered a different meal and all were happy with their meals. I orderd the Chicken Enchilladas. It was tasty without being overly spciy. In addition we found the atmosphere to be friendly

The food was excellent - fresh guacamole that they make right at your table. The atmosphere was great! Not a place I would take my kids because they wouldn't appreciate it.

We are a late lunch so we're not particularly hungry - but we had tickets to a concert at MGM and didn't know the food options there) I had a strawberry margarita it was good. I had cheeses Quessidas , also good. Husband had meet tacos. It was more than enough. The chips and salsa standard on table really good.... More

Absolutely delicious meal with excellent service. The Cerviche de Camarones appetizer was a fun start as was the quesadilla de camarones. The chips and salsa were also good they arrived warm and crispy as we read over the menu. The two best entrees were the grilled skirt steak special Tampiquena de Carne Asada and my personal favorite the Chamorro. The... More

In 1984, Rosa Mexicano set a new standard for Mexican cuisine when it first opened on the upper east side of New York City. Playing a leading role in defining what was then a "new" cuisine to American diners, Rosa Mexicano delivers authentic Mexican cooking in an accessible, stylishly festive atmosphere. Rosa Mexicano's menu features a range of award-winning signature dishes, including our Guacamole en Molcajete, in a traditional lava rock mortar. Described by Time Out New York as "green ecstasy in a stone bowl," it is prepared table side and served with house made chips, warm corn tortillas and condiment salsas. Rosa Mexicano is also known for the Frozen Pomegranate Margarita, as well as the stylish and festive ambiance that includes an illuminated water wall.
