Food, service and price were all excellent. We ate here twice while in town and enjoyed both meals. Excellent service and food. Generous portions of food. Couldn't eat it all.

Good atmosphere. Had delicious margaritas at bar. Very attentive wait staff. We just stopped in for a drink but looking at the dishes wish we had more time to eat there

The meal was good; but the fresh guac was AMAZING! I could have just eaten the guac for my meal. Dont pass this up.

Our group had a great time at Rosa. I ordered the vegetarian fajitas and the guac made at the table. Overall, good food and reasonably priced.

The food was very good! Our party of nine had a variety and everyone was very happy with their meal! The chips and salsa were very good and the waiter came by the table often to ensure we always had plenty of chips and salsa....More

I'm usually not too picky about Mexican food. It seems to be authentic Mexican food. I had the Tres Enchiladas, spicy but not overpowering. Close to the Gaylord, nice location on the water.

The food was expensive, and not that great. I'm from Texas, and this Mexican food was too foo foo. The grilled shrimp dish was super spicy even though I asked that it be made without the peppers. The balboa tacos were dry. I also tried...More

The chef does an outstanding job of creating rich, delicious, mouth-watering food that is not overpowering. This is by far the best Mexican Restaurant I have ever eaten at!! I need gluten & dairy free food options, which is hard to do at Mexican restaurants...More

Dined there with 2 kids and family. The table side guacamole is fun to watch and among the best I've ever had. (you gotta love cilantro, though) Fast and friendly service and delicious food. I had the tres enchiladas sampler and they were great. Not...More

We dined here with family on a Sunday for lunch. It was busy so reservations are recommended. It was kid-friendly. It was entertaining to see the table-side guacamole being made. They make fresh corn tortillas in sight as well. Delicious Mexican food and great location!

In 1984, Rosa Mexicano set a new standard for Mexican cuisine when it first opened on the upper east side of New York City. Playing a leading role in defining what was then a "new" cuisine to American diners, Rosa Mexicano delivers authentic Mexican cooking in an accessible, stylishly festive atmosphere. Rosa Mexicano's menu features a range of award-winning signature dishes, including our Guacamole en Molcajete, in a traditional lava rock mortar. Described by Time Out New York as "green ecstasy in a stone bowl," it is prepared table side and served with house made chips, warm corn tortillas and condiment salsas. Rosa Mexicano is also known for the Frozen Pomegranate Margarita, as well as the stylish and festive ambiance that includes an illuminated water wall.
