Did not find anything here to be exceptional. Long line of people waiting when we left so something must be done right or it is because it is a cheaper option in the National Harbor area which tends to have expensive restaurants. Wine pours were...More

Beautiful restaurant with outdoor seating overlooking the Potomac River. The signature margarita is fantastic and way overpriced. The food is very good, authentic dishes but also overpriced. Great overall experience but not worth the money.

Had great food and service here. Table side guac is amazing and easy to share. Drinks are good too. Had the fish taco and the nacho and both were great. Definitely recommend.

We spent an afternoon at the Rosa, and enjoyed really good guacamole and an assortment of tasty sights, good beer and a lovely setting.

Ordered a shrimp quesadilla. Was disappointed. One shrimp in each slice and loaded with cheese. Would have preferred less cheese and more shrimp.

We have been here several times and we have never been disappointed. They are accommodating with reservations, the view is great and the food is delicious. There is something for everyone! They stay busy, but you never feel rushed!

For Mexican, this is expensive. The food is good but not worth the cost. Best feature is the table side guacamole. Drinks are very expensive, small and loaded with ice. I went to Rosa Mexicana in NYC years ago and didn't think I'd ever return...More

In 1984, Rosa Mexicano set a new standard for Mexican cuisine when it first opened on the upper east side of New York City. Playing a leading role in defining what was then a "new" cuisine to American diners, Rosa Mexicano delivers authentic Mexican cooking in an accessible, stylishly festive atmosphere. Rosa Mexicano's menu features a range of award-winning signature dishes, including our Guacamole en Molcajete, in a traditional lava rock mortar. Described by Time Out New York as "green ecstasy in a stone bowl," it is prepared table side and served with house made chips, warm corn tortillas and condiment salsas. Rosa Mexicano is also known for the Frozen Pomegranate Margarita, as well as the stylish and festive ambiance that includes an illuminated water wall.
