We had a delicious lunch here. The soup was amazing. The woman who runs the café, Claire told us some stories of her life and the village that were captivating. So glad we stopped by!!

This cafe will bring you some memories from your old grand ma or grand ma. The owners are so friendly that you would like to stay for an entire day! The food is normal, not the best I got in my life but good. We had a long chat with the 2 women working there and it was nice, talking... More

Very friendly and obliging staff ; THE most delicious ham sandwiches complete with coleslaw, salad etc. But... The cakes are such a disappointment ! Stodgy, somewhat stale and a bit tasteless. Get the desserts right and this place could be a hit.

Visiting Lismore to see the Castle and gardens we had Lunch in the Rustic Cafe because we liked the look of the place from outside, It looked interesting and different and it turned out to be just that. We went in and were greeted by, as it turned out, the owner with a warm welcome. We placed our order for... More

Not a bad spot if you're not too fussy. The staff are really warm and welcoming but the food is a little heavy in terms of butter or dressing and salad cream.

We arrived in Lismore on a Sunday afternoon to find that many places were shut. We were not disappointed in finding this quirky cafe though! It was the genuine article & reminded me of childhood visits to Ireland. Good home cooking/presentation, great craic with the staff & tasty sangwidges too. tea served in mismatching china cups from a large china... More

I love the Rustic Café in Lismore and have lunch there at least twice weekly with my colleagues. Claire the owner always has a chat with her guests and there's a friendly quirky ambience to the diner style cafe. The staff are always friendly whether it's Margo or Jackie on duty, and the service is excellent and great value for... More

It was a wet day in Lismore when we happened upon this delight. Our welcome was as warm as can be and the food and drink we were served were delicious. The home made soup was lovely - it used ginger as a base and that added a wonderful note of warmth. The range of cakes looked lovely.

Such a lovely spot. Stopped in for a cup of coffee, only to be tempted by a selection of sweet treats :) I had the chocolate biscuit cake and my sister had the rhubarb and ginger cake with ice cream...Both were out of this world. Its a must if you are in the area.
