The best Icecream in Romania with long history.
Delicious lemonade and braga.Unique place located in Slatina Old Town.I was there with 2 of my Polish friends and we were really suprossed how perfect is this place where you can eat and dring delicious specialities from...Albania.More
Apparently this place is quite well known among the locals... and with good reason. The ice cream we got was freshly made - the owner was scooping some out of the machine right as we were ordering ours. Both the braga and the lemonade we...tried were delicious. The atmosphere is incredibly nostalgic, the entire shop feels like it’s from another time. I wish I could go back there.More
We arrived there exactly at the closing time. We were lucky because there were a man with 2 children still eating ice-cream. We bought turkish delight and braga. I must tell you that the taste was unbelievable and i remembered the taste of my childhood...sweets, my mother's flavoured cakes. Now, after 2 months, i still smile at the thought that someday i will return and buy some more. How bad they do not have a shop anywhere else. Fir me it would have been easier to have it in Bucharest. But maybe is better like this. Every good thing in our life is obtained with effort. My family are coming to visit me in UK and they are bringing me black cherry, roses and nuts, lemon turkish delight and nougat from Atletul Albanez. Try them! I guarantee you will develop addiction in a good way.More
This shop its the oldest from this city. They reinvented themselves, and came on the market with a cool concept... its a very nice place to stay and enjoy your coffee, while you can look outside. The vies uts wide, cause the walls are made...of glass.More
Perhaps this is the oldest cafeteria in South-Eastern Europe! For more than 200 years provides the local and the tourists with home made cassatas and ice-cream, baklava, walnut and rose Turkish delights, chocolates and many more, prepared on ancient recipes.
It represents a real cultural...phenomenon and it has been visited in the past by famous international celebrities and politicians including Charles de Gaulle.
Excellent service! Very professional staff!
Keep up the good work!More
