The location is wonderful and the cuisine is delicious. We had fish, very well cooked and served. Plus a starter with local cheese, salmon, and bacon. Reservation is suggested because the place is kind of popular.
We had a registration, because the restaurant is very popular.
The menu is very diverse. I chose the fish soup and whale, which were excellent.
Also the dessert with meringue was delicious. Really a place to recommend.
The restaurant was closed when we came here but the café/shop was open and they have a lunch menu. Absolutely try the creamy fish soup (made from the cod they catch on their fishing trips)! The spices used in the soup made it a culinary...adventure and everything comes with local bread and butter. The grilled cheese with sweet spiced mustard is also excellent. The shop is located in an old wooden fishing house with antique furniture. The café's seating rooms overlook the bay and mountains and is very cozy and romantic. Lovely place to have lunch.More

Overall fine restaurant really polite waiters, but my burger was tasteless, wasn’t the best but atleast I left with no hunger left. The prices were up to the sky, but so are in all the restaurants in Norway..
Be aware: Shrimps in this restaurant are...served not peeled at all.More
