Now a days heard, there is no salsa nights being held at this location, but when they used to it was to be the most rocking place in juba, Once i had dinner with friends but i didn't like the food, but on salsa day it use to be so electrifying you can really feel it

The food is ok but the place is a little bit not comfortable. The service is good as well. It is really in the central of the city.

May be this is the best place for relax during day time, or for dinner. Cold bear and less mosquitos.

The Central Pub has closed for renovation or redevelopment. very sad, was a landmark location in Juba. Used to be very busy over weekends and on Thursdays with the Salsa night where more than a few gave meaning to the term, "dancing is a vertical expression of a horizontal desire". Food used to be very nice for lunch and dinner... More

I used to love this place for lunch, nice food nice atmosphere. But it's closed down. I can only hope the owners are opening up somewhere else in Juba because they had a great little offering.

First, I saw some review it was "attached" to a UN compound.... This is not true. It is a very "spacey" place a lot of space for people in the gardens. However, it tends to be quiet on nights without any special activities, not to be said it is bad. The menu is limited but they have what is stated... More

Before the recent conflict, Central Pub was "the place to be" at for lunch, all tables packed (heavy on UN, embassies and NGOs), and active in the evening. Some important government officials used to meet there for lunch. There is a large central (outdoor) area and several smaller satellites, all with thatched roof. My new team recently visited, to find... More

A little gem in Juba. They offer a good selection of pizza, salad, and Middle Eastern food, including a wide range of salad. A good mix of people there, it's not all internationals! Thursday night is salsa night, but things don't get going until late, and for many curfew meant that you can't take part in the fun. Service is... More

This is on the UN compound in Juba and is over rated and way over-priced. The lunch buffet is pretty unsatisfyng and the staff are, well, typically unmortivated young people from the area. Went to the Pub twice for lunch in May 2013; first time out of curiosity, second time against my preferences. There won't be a third time.

Good mix of clientele. Great food. They had a barbeque station the night I went (Thursday). Plus, good entertainment for the guests as it was Salsa night. We were able to smoke a sheesha while enjoying the ambience.
