Came here for lunch on the recommendation of friends, so glad we did. Four of us shared the meat and cheese plate to start, there was plenty for all of us. The grilled cheese is amazing. We followed with fresh pasta, polenta and veal with porcini mushrooms, everything was excellent including the service. We loved it so much that we... More

Late lunch with Italian friends also visting from the area. Well worth the short wait, even at 2:00 pm, for a lunch with six friends due to the busy summer season. We pretty much sampled the menu between all of us - every plate met or exceeded our expectations. From the antipasti to dessert da Paolino offered the best of... More

Small, inviting and very good. The exceptional service was outdone by the food. The owner visits frequently and remarks that you better finish everything he presents at your table. "Il dolce" the sweets or desserts are wonderful, after a brief stroll through the mountain town, dine here, you won't be disappointed.

The village itself is a pearl in the hills, in the middle of nowhere. It became rich from sheep. Da Paolino is small and cozy, has excellent service (English spoken). Full for lunch with Italian gentlemen from the region. Home-made pasta prepared with egg. My favorite: truffle and pepper. Rely on the waiter for recommendations. Good wine selection.

This restaurant was recommended to us and, in turn, we can now recommend it. Probably the best pasta dish I've ever tasted. Friendly staff and efficient service. What looks like a small restaurant from the outside, opens up to become a popular and buzzing, superb Italian restaurant, with a lovely atmosphere. The food was very good.

This restaurant was recommended by the owner of a Boston MA Italian restaurant and it did not disappoint! We had lunch of pasta and dessert. My pasta of ricotta filled ravioli in tomato sauce was exquisite and I sent my plate back clean from getting up every last bit of sauce with the, equally, delicious bread provided. The dessert was... We had dinner here four times two years ago when we stayed in Pescoconstazo. This time we were staying in Sulmona, but couldn't resist coming twice for lunch. I'm pleased to say that is every bit as good as it was then.We had antipasti of bruschetta ..the version with radicchio and scamorza (a local cheese)was our favourite, although the one... More

My boyfriend and I decided to dine at this restaurant and it was the best choice ever! The woman who welcomed us was very nice and helpful giving indication on the road we wanted to take the day after. We ordered 3 types of pasta all freshly home made. The best one the ravioli with gorgonzola and pear. But also... More
