Had an early evening meal here when staying nearby. Restaurant soon filled up. It's obviously popular and in a great central location. Food was great and we loved everything we ordered especially the zuchini flowers. There was also complimentary dessert and ouzo. Would definitely re...visit if we are ever in the area again.More

This is where I’ve had the best mixed grill to date, no kidding. I’m a big meat eater and when I can’t decide, I go for the mixed grill. Not always to write home about as usually there are elements that are not cooked well....But, o what joy, the mixed grill here was just perfect. Lots of flavor, every meat its own seasoning and herbs, everything cooked to perfection. Portion was gigantic. The 1-person plate was more than enough for two. Almost forgot to mention the mezes. Also very tasty. Staff was very friendly.More
I had lunch here and the food was delicious. We had kolokithokeftedes, mosharaki with patates, and soudzoukakia. The food was delicious and tasted homemade. The staff was friendly and helpful!!
Still the best restaurant in Palekastro We came like ten times this summer and the food is always amazing, here cooking is not only a job for the owners but a real PASSION. i could not recommend more this place and i’m pretty sure that...you will come back if you try it once. BRAVO.More

Finistrini is the place to go if you visit Palekastro. Great service and incredible food! My advices: aubergines pied in the oven, and moussaka is the best one I ever ate since I go to Greece, since 25 years.
Had dinner with friends upstairs, great views over the square. Great choice of mezes, salads and fish. The food was very fresh and tasted delicious. The staff was friendly and service was quick. Highly recomended.

We have been visiting Finistrini for nearly 20 years, so we feel like one of the family. The young children are now grown up and serving in the taverna, polite and efficient, and the food maintains it's quality. The mousakas is light and fluffy, sardines...are grilled to perfection, and washed down with the local wine perfect. We tried the more expensive Toplou monastry wine, but reverted to the house wine as lighter and more suited to our taste. As always, meals finish with a complementary dessert and glass of raki. We meet other friends who love Palekastro, so every year is a reunion.More
