I’d recommend skipping Oniro - the location is stunning but let down by poor service, uncomfortable plastic seating, and poor food.
I had high hopes given the reviews, the menu had loads of choice but most of the dishes we had were poorly executed, one...of the starters was so spicy it was inedible (coming from a spicy food lover) another salad was swimming in water at the bottom, and the burrata was tiny but accompanied by a massive slab of focaccia which was sodden by tomato juices. The flavours were clearly thought of, but the way they were put together meant the overall dishes were a real let down.
After over an hours wait, the mains were similarly disappointing, again - thought had been given to which flavours work together (excepting the Chicken Trahanoto - which was the most bland and flavourless meal I’ve ever had in a restaurant) but each meal was lacking in something - the flatbreads came with no side salad or garnish (no sides menu either to order from), the Chicken Trahanoto came with no vegetables or sides either, the duck came with rice but it was dry and flavourless.
We skipped deserts. Drinks were good, but expensive vs most other restaurants in Paphos/Peyia.
There are a tonne of better & more reasonable restaurants with better service in Paphos - lots of which covered in my reviews.More
