Lovely place, shame we only tried it on our last night. Nice food, great staff, amazing views, and they brought me a chocolate cake out with sparklers on as it was my birthday! Too many kids in the area below, they were so loud!! We had to shout to hear each other, they were eventually moved. A lovely place, try... More

We visited this taverna twice during our holiday and both times the food and service were excellent. The cheese or spinach pies are amazing and the house rose wine was very good.Having been to this taverna over 16 years ago it was so lovely to be back here again and be welcomed by the staff.Thank you for old memories and now... We only went to this restaurant once during our stay. The food was great and the service was relaxed. This may be too relaxed for some, as they did leave us quite a long time after we had finished our meal. There was no offer of dessert, but we didn't want one anyway, so that was ok. We paid by... Yet again great service and delicious food. On my last day I chose to eat on the veranda at Lord Byron overlooking the sea watching the sun go down. Ideal setting.

Ok, so went to this place twice whilst we were away. It has to be said, the first visit was great. Great food, great service, lovely time had, however, our second visit was totally opposite with me having to go for waiters, asked to share food whilst my husbands was still being cooked as they had messed the order up.... I regret writing this review as on our first visit at the start of our holiday we had a lovely evening at Lord Byron's however upon a return visit we were very disappointed. As I said - the first visit was great. We were greeted warmly by a waiter who came down the steps to welcome us in. He offered... More

Food and service are great, but portion of fried squid is too small, everythig is served on big plates so it looks bigger. All in all nice place.

I suspect this may be one of the older establishments in Barbati. Either way, a great place to come for a beer and/or some delicious Taverna food; unique atmosphere differing from the other (also very nice) destinations nearby. The Prawn Saganaki and Gemiste come highly recommended.

All the tavernas along the main road in Barbati seem excellent. We are working down the road and have not had a bad meal yet. Lord Byron was excellent, as usual around here, the staff were excellent and the food matched. The grilled mixed seafood was incredible with a whole squid, some octopus, mussels, swordfish, shrimp and several small fish... More

We had a nice meal here one evening and we sat the sea view side. The staff were very friendly and extra helpful and the table was well presented. I felt the menu choices weren't great but the meal I had was nice.
