We came here twice on our recent holiday to Barbati. The owners were very friendly and the food was great. If you can reserve a table at the small seating area across from the main restaurant at sunset do so! Excellent local restaurant in a...beautiful setting.More

The view from the restaurant is beautiful. The service was excellent and the lady who owns the restaurant was very warm and friendly. We had the cheese in pastry with honey and sesame seeds to start and it was delicious. I had the lamb kleftiko...for main course - really delicious and a very generous portion. My partner had the soffit - delicious veal in a white wine and garlic sauce - very tender and loads of flavour. I can highly recommend this restaurant.More

we ate here three times during our two week stay. While all the restaurants in Barbati have similar menus, Dionysos offered excellent quality food and service. The pitta bread cover charge was delicious and the bordeta (fish in a spicy sauce) outstanding.

Wednesday 18th was the first of a number our visits to this restaurant during our holiday in Barbati. Two seating areas, one across the road, outdoors overlooking the sea or the indoor veranda area on the first floor. We always chose the veranda area so...that we could watch the world pass by below. We had a mixture of experiences with our food here. One evening we ordered chicken souvlaki with roast potatoes and briam. The chicken was succulent and delicious however the briam was swimming in oil and overly salty. The roast potatoes were three thin potato wedges. Another evening we had the pork chops and the beef burger. The chops were tasty but the burger, think a good bit must have been left stuck to the grill. One evening one of the dishes ordered was the children's portion of meatballs and linguini pasta, it was big enough. The portions here were definitely not your typical Greek, piled high on a plate. Some dishes like the pasta was large, two small beef burgers and three potato wedges was a bit meagre. While we waited for our meals we were given some slices of pitta bread with a tasty spicy cheese dip. There was a cover charge of €0.90 to cover this each. A large bottle of Mythos beer was €3.80 We had been a number of times so were known, we turned one evening, admittedly it was very busy, we were not acknowledged or spoken to, so we left and never went back.More

We have been coming to Dionysos for 4 years now and the service and the food are wonderful. The food is beautiful as is the presentation and service. It does traditional and modern dishes with great attention to detail. After a delicious meal of swordfish...souvlaki and king prawns we were treated to the most amazing home made chocolate cake and strawberry sorbet. The owner is always so friendly and shows such hospitality. Thank you Dionysos.More

Staff was slow. The balcony is a bit remote and felt remote too because it can take a while before you get a hold on a waiter. The beef fillet pepper sauce was excellent at medium rare and the gyros was good as well. The...chicken souvlaki was besides fries not decorated. No salad, no tzatziki, which was a bit disappointing. Had to ask 3 times for mayo/ketchup and received it after the fries were almost finished. The fries were also quite light and not firm. We skipped dessert because the staff seemed too busy. This was our least favorite restaurant of Barbati. Can imagine you would have a better experience on quieter times.More

We ate here on the second night of our holidays. The reviews were all excellent and based on our experience we were not left disappointed. Service was excellent and our waiter was very friendly and welcoming. A mistake with one of the kids orders which...meant it arrived after the other dishes was handled with good natured humour and without drama. Really relaxing atmosphere and we were left in peace to enjoy a few after dinner drinks. Wonderful menu with plenty of locally sourced fish and meat options. I had the catch of the day which was grilled salmon. It was really delicious and served with roast potatoes and a selection of vegetables. Rest of the family had beef in white wine sauce, chops and chicken dishes. Nice choice of local beer and wines. Nice mix of red and rose enjoyed by the table. Highly recommend the Corfu Beer (pilsner). Would highly recommend and will definitely return.More
