This is the place where the dish chicken piri piri is born. An excellent restaurant, owner with papa doing the service and mama in the kitchen. If you like simple tough very good food like chicken piri piri this is the place you want to be. On top of that very kind service. Definitly a place i will go back... More

During a family holiday in Portugal, my family and I visited Guia to try the famous Piri Piri Chicken where it originated from. We searched Trip advisor to find palladium high up on the list. The service was exceptional, who catered well for our young daughter (friendly but not over friendly)! We was hoping the chicken was going to have... More

My wife and I went here on a Saturday early evening, for the third time. The welcome from the owner and his son was, as usual, fantastic, with lots of conversations about football, weather, UK Brexit, etc. We ordered the garlic prawns for two and the Piri Piri chicken, plus a bottle of the local red wine. The food is... More

Arrived immediately after a short drive from Faro airport, starving hungry. So glad we chose this place for our first taste of Portuguese food. The friendly welcome was appreciated and our waiter was fun and great with our children. The chicken was so tasty washed down with Vinho Verde!! Will definitely go back to try Cataplana.

We have been visiting Diogo's restaurant for the last eight years and have always received excellent food and service. A lovely traditional Portuguese restaurant. The piri piri chicken is fantastic. There is a good selection of other dishes on the menu but I always go for piri piri, the traditional dish of Guia. No hesitation in recommending. You can see... More

We returned 3 times - Sea Bass, Piri Piri, Prawn Salad - all first class. Have been coming here for over 20 years and yet to have a bad meal !!! Service as always... More

Lovely to get back to Guia and first stop Palladium for an honest Portuguese meal, well cooked by Batiste and served with style by Diogo or Joao. Menu is simple and tasty with excellent fresh salad and terrific wines. Been a fan for 12 years and even though Diogo threatens to retire, know that the tradition will live on. Parabens!

We travelled from Canada and France. Have been here 2 weeks and this is in top two restaurants we visited in Algarve. The food was very well done and tasty. The staff were AMAZING asked the children's names and treated them very well. The adults were treated very well but usually are in most restaurants. Don't expect fancy digs just... More
