Just returned from Almyrida and ate at Lagos for one night only, would have been more but ran out of time. Very authentic restaurant with great ambience and friendly owner. Had meatballs and hubby had beef stew as main dishes with stuffed peppers and cheese...More

We had been told about Lagos so we decided to find out more. What an enchanting setting and warm welcome. The place was very busy and everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves. The owner described some of the dishes and as soon as he mentioned...More

The staff is very friendly and nice, the place...is lovely, so "wild" :-) in the garden side of the restaurant...that part has something magic. I think you have to try Lagos Taverna.

Second trip to Almyrida and this was immediately on the list. It lacks the views of the sea front but is a nice alternative set in a old fashioned court yard. Service is from a family so is traditional greek and menu is all the...More

Tucked away just past the Pear Tree market, we ate here 3 times, the beef stiffado is the best, but none of the meals we had disappointed, have the stuffed peppers for starters. It is a family run tavern with the mother and wife of...More

What a great atmosphere they create! The restaurant is without a sea view (rare in Almyrida) but absolutely worth the visits. Mum in the kitchen prepares the most wonderful dishes, ask for the specials (which are not on the menu). Great place!

We came here while on vacation. I would rate everything as good, with only a few 'excellent' things. I remember enjoying the fried zucchini a lot. It was family friendly on one hand, but there wasn't anything in particular for the kids to do while...More

I'm staying in Almyrida at the moment (September 2016). I've asked in two different shops for directions to your taverna, but been told each time that the restaurant has now closed down. We were told that it was closed for health reasons. However, I've just seen reviews from this week, which are after I asked for the location. Are you open or not? If you are open, how do we find you? Many thanks.

Hi Liz Closed for health reasons in Greece means someone in the family is not well. Not due to poor hygiene.
