We visited this magnificent restaurant twice in the two weeks we were in Crete even though it is the other end of the price spectrum- it was worth every penny. Truly outstanding cuisine of the highest standard with the most wonderful vista overlooking the Mediterranean...Sea or is it the Aegean? The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful and polite - even taking photos when requested. The wine, recommended by the waiter was superb and great value. The beef fillet was excellent as was the crab starter and the scallops were ‘the best Libby has ever had’. The strawberry soup was a thing of perfection. Save up for a superb eating experience, you won’t be disappointed.More

We ate at the Almyvita restaurant in Almyrida, Crete during our two week summer break. It was sensational The waiters took the time to explain each dish and its origin , you know when there is this much attention to detail the restaurant experience will...not disappoint ! My tuna carpaccio was as refreshing as bathing in the warm summer beaches that adorn this landscape. Each starter was meticulous in presentation and alerted taste buds we never knew existed ! The main dishes and desserts continued the high standard for the evening, In particular a special mention for the orzo pasta with Shrimp, the red mullet - beautifully delicate and crisp , and the Cheesecake with sorbet which simply melted in the mouth and cooled the senses We will be returning before our trip homeMore

The best food experience we had in Crete. The restaurant stands out in comparison to all the other in town and the food was on a whole diffirent level. We had Lamb, pork and Rib-eye steak and OMG it was just perfect, some ordered medium...and medium/well and also welldone, and all were just grilled 100% 👌🏼 not often this happens :-) Just a must go to place 🙏More

Had a wonderful meal here this evening. Service was top notch, attentive but not intrusive. Coming from London we’ve ate in a lot of high end restaurants and this one was up there with the best. Fabulous food, amuse bouche and pre desert on the...house. We had the rock crab and scallops followed by rib eye and beef fillet, all were cooked to perfection. Steak melted in your mouth. Tiramisu was light and sooo tasty. Cocktails and wine also fab. Highly recommended, not cheap but well worth it for a special occasion.More

I booked this restaurant ahead of my holiday as i knew my twin boys would be 18 out here. I did it hoping reviewers were correct to recommend - and they so were! I organised a cake for the boys ahead and the whole evening...was a superb experience - definitely not cheap but totally worth it. fine dining gastronomy experience that will make them a brilliant memory (nothing else will probably live up to this now!) thankyou so much to the team who made this memory for us.More

Excellent restaurant. Polite service, delicious dishes, all produced with local ingredients. Here you can also taste the superiority of the Greek wines.

We had an amazing meal. We booked a table on the rooftop. Amazing views. We started with cocktails and then ordered a few items off of the sushi menu. The sushi was excellent! The bread was delicious as was the house made butter. Only two...of us were still hungry after the sushi. The main courses we ordered were so delicious. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. We are a family of five. Kids ages 20, 18 & 15. They all enjoyed their meal. The service was excellent. We are here for another few days and will definitely dine again.More

The quality of this restaurant both in terms of its food and service are just exceptional. We ate in a few of the other restaurants in Almyrida during the week we were there but this one stood head and shoulders above the rest. We ate...there twice the first being my wife's birthday when we had the degustation menu and all 8 courses were outstanding. We visited again later in the week and ate from the a la carte which was just as good. The staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable which adds greatly to the experience. It is not inexpensive but in terms of value for money it is up there with many other restaurants we have eaten in all over the worldMore

14 days vacation visiting the small and cozy resturants along the beach. And then on our final evening here. It should have been more often! Its a total different experience here Like being on a really expensive restaurant being pampered. Excellent staff Excellent food And...only a bit more expensive than the beach restaurants. Definitely worth a visit!More
