The location is beautiful!
A lunch prepared with good raw materials, but unfortunately the staff was not attentive to my request for attention towards my allergy to dishes prepared with onion and garlic. I ordered some very good bruschetta and was served some fresh bread with butter, all very pleasant. It is the cocktail was not up to scratch but they were kind not to put it in the bill. But unfortunately, my burger sandwich was not well cooked, unfortunately it was almost raw and marinated with garlic and so I was sick all day. But I would very much return to this wonderful place, because the prices are absolutely not high and the view is incredibly dreamy.
Super recommended and anyway even after the various mistakes made in the kitchen I would not only return very willingly, but I am ready to RECOMMEND IT!

From the moment you cross the classy well appointed lobby you know you've made the right choice - this is confirmed when you step out on to the terrace and take in the fresh breeze as you gaze out through the coconut trees to the warm Indian Ocean.
You'll be warmly welcomed and invited to choose from an exotic list of cocktails as you ponder over your preferred meals from a list of classic Indian dishes with a hint of local Swahili magic.

As we stayed at Searenity for 6 nights and this is their restaurant, we had the opportunity to try many different dishes from the menu. Everything was delicious, original and nicely displayed. The staff does a fabulous job as they are very attentive and friendly and make you feel truly welcome. The terrace is located with a beautiful view of the beach and the sea which we loved. If you stay at Searenity - lucky you, if not then it‘s definitely worth visiting the restaurant anyway.

We came for dinner. We often come to Diani and have our favorite restaurants. When we saw this and was highly rated, we thought we should give it a try. It is a small restaurant, which is the kind of atmosphere we like. The staff are friendly but some of the wait staff maybe need a bit more training (missing cutleries, placing of drinks at the table is random, etc.). When we were there, the kitchen seemed overwhelmed despite having only 3 tables occupied (2 groups of 3, a group of 2). The starter (squid) we had was really good but the mains were nothing special. It also took almost 30 minutes for the mains to arrive after we finished our starter. I think this place has loads of potential. Maybe we’ll try it again after a year.

The restaurant is near one luxury hotel, not easy to walkin. We took a tutu to get there.The restaurant has a very good view and the waiters are very friendly. Never push you to order or check bill. You can sit there enjoy the beach view and soft wind as long as you can. The food is not expensive. We two order a pizza, salad, fried potato and a cold drink for total 2900kes. The food is good. We ate them all ☺️

We have enjoyed a total of 5 wonderful nights at the Searenity Beach Villa. The communication beforehand was uncomplicated and we were warmly welcomed upon arrival. Jas, Selma and the whole team at the Searenity manage to create a cozy atmosphere. Everyone was extremely friendly, thoughtful and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and the garden well maintained. In the morning, the towels were already laid out on our favorite loungers, our privacy was always guaranteed by the barely noticable fence to the public beach and the drinks are brought directly to the sun lounger. Our personal highlight were all meals at the restaurant from the Hotel (“Anchor”). No matter what we´ve ordered, the kitchen always created a 5* dish. And even food intolerances were cared for with a lot of awareness. If desired, the team assists in booking various excursions and activities. We opted for a sunset boat tour and did not regret it. We were provided with champagne and glasses in a cooler and enjoyed the special atmosphere very much.
Thanks to the whole team and especially Jas, Selma, Francis and Jason for making our stay so memorable. We will be happy to come back again!

We were staying in Diani for a couple of nights and we decided to look online for random Resturant's that we have not tried instead of the usual popular ones. This one came up on google- the fusion inspired menu and distance to where we staying at lead us to Anchor. Ok google maps was not great but we found it after a U-turn. Not sure what to expect we were pleasantly surprised. warm welcome by reception and staff. We were a family of 4 with two hungry boys so we were hoping for quick tastey food - the staff delivered- starters came and we were very happy and looking forward to the rest of the order.
Food was yummy- i especially liked the butter chicken & naan bread. All of our order was great!
Would definitely recommend and go back again when we visit diani again.

I recently dined at Anchor Restaurant, I loved the ambiance and the set up was superb. We were welcome so well and the disappointment came in when i ordered the pepper steak, i was so eager to try their renowned sauce. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by an overly salty pepper sauce that overwhelmed the dish. While the steak itself was cooked to perfection, the sauce left much to be desired. The excessive saltiness masked any subtle flavours of the pepper and other seasonings, making it difficult to enjoy the meal fully. I was so disappointed.

Selma was extremely communicative from the word go. I flew into Diani last week and booked under Zahid Magan a couple of days in advance. They also requested i choose the dishes we wanted to eat so there is no significant delay after we ordered which was rather great. I received a call prior to our dinner to confirm if everything we ordered was in order. Once we arrived, Selma welcomed my family and i (who were very impressed with the layout) and sat us on our tables.
The place is breathtaking. As the restaurant is by the sea, you experience a lovely breeze which is a change from the normal humidity of Diani.
We ordered two portions of the butter chicken and boneless tikka with poussin chips for the kids. We ALL loved it! The butter chicken looked amazing and tasted even better! The naans were humongous and very tasty! The boneless tikka was excellent, once of the best i've ever sampled.
The service was excellent and Selma was always on top on things. No wonder this restaurant is rated so highly and the pricing was decent too.
I highly recommend this place as the menu is quite extensive and i most certainly will return on my next trip to Diani.

Again, absolutely the finest dining place in Diani. Standards are up there, kitchen is very good and attention to details. Had fish bahjias and lamb koftas for starters and the king prawn masala for mains, and common for all is freshness! Fish has not been frozen and lamb koftas was so juicy. Now for the prawns, slightly overcooked but that’s being picky. Masala was fantastic! Had the passion crème brûlée for dessert and it’s a tough ask to keep both the crust and the brûlée right in an environment of 80% humidity this time if year, so it was not the best experience, even though taste was good. Maybe change the game for the season a bit? Anyway, a good night and super staff.

We’ve been in Diani Beach for a month and went to the Anchor for two meals. The seafood platter for two was a little overcooked, but we went back a second time and had single seafood meals. Excellent! The service was great, the seafood was delicious. The ambiance was stellar. We have three days left and will likely come back one more time! There aren’t lots of tables and they ask for reservations, but it’s very intimate and lovely to sit outside and listen to the waves and watch the moon come up as you eat. Perfect.

It was fabulous experience! So tasty and original dishes, extremely helpful staff and cozy atmosphere! Unfortunately, when we come lobster and oyster already finished, so make pre-order 😉 But we taste amazing crab and curry😋😋😋

We had the opportunity to stay at Serenety Beach Hotel for five nights end of October. It turned out to be one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays we have had in ages.
Our room was lovely, but we were most impressed with the property itself and the fabulous service we enjoyed throughout our stay. The service was exceptional, attentive without being intrusive. We would particularly like to emphasise Francis, who assisted us at dinner almost every evening and has been great to have around!
The food in general is a huge highlight. The half board we booked allowed us to put together a small menu from the menu in the morning and evening. Every single meal was convincing, over time we discovered our favourites and ordered them again and again. (Can especially recommend Papaya Salad and VEG chapati taco as Starters)
We had a great time and thank Selma, Jas and the whole team for a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Dined there three times now and ordered numerous dishes from their menu. The Butter Chicken was sublime accompanied with their delectable naans. Prawn masala curry 🍛 was delicious but their beef 🍔 burgers were arguably the best I have eaten at a restaurant. Char grilled to perfection👌 . Service was excellent too along with the ambience
