Excellent Swahili meal

The waiter didn´t understand our order well and brought two dishes instead three which disappointed us for a while but in the end we took it as great opportunity to stay longer and enjoy peaceful atmosphere and a nice view to the beach while waiting for the third meal. The food was excellent, one of the best prepared Swahili meal I ate on this trip to Kenya. All staff was very friendly and helpful.

Diani Beach Estuary/Kongo River

This place is amazing. We came for a mangrove river tour and dinner. The estuary is beautiful. The dinner was exquisite. Restaurant staff brought our table, chairs, carpets, cushions and candles to the end of the sand spit at the mouth of the river. They lit a bonfire and served a delicious Italian dinner of seafood tagliatelle and a grilled fish. This was the best of the best, with a beautiful sunset followed by stars. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic ambience and service 👏

Lovely spot for relaxing night. Overlooking the beautiful Kongo River. We were served by the amazing Rama, who was super attentive, polite, highly intelligent and even entertained our kids. I would highly recommend the seafood platter and was it down with Diani's own Jabba juice! Wonderful night, great ambience.

Beside the beautiful location, a huge disappointment.

Sit at the delta of a small seasonal river, overlooking a unique Baobab environment and white beach and blue ocean, this spot has all the best prepositions. Unfortunately the quality of the food is below average, fruit juices were watered down to a joke, beef fillet, chicken breast and calamari all extremely dry. Only (partially) positive note were the desserts. But what was really of was the bill that revealed that all the prices in the menu, already on the high side of prices on the Coast did NOT included the 16% tax :( It's the first time this happened to us in years in Mombasa and on the coast and, although it was somewhere written on the menu, not the most straightforward of business practices.

Amazing overall experience! Fun day trips and the best seafood in town

If you are in Diani, you must visit this hidden gem. It's located at the tail end of Diani going towards Tiwi Beach. It's located in a peaceful setting with huge baobob trees on a stretch of beautiful beach. Besides being an amazing restaurant that serves the best seafood in Diani, it serves as an activity center for great day trips too. We did the Kongo River sundowner in a canoe which had a superb atmosphere. We appreciate supporting the local community during our holiday and felt this was an authentic experience. They also organized a day trip for us to the marine park where we saw dolphins and whales. Highly recommend!

We spent a week in diani, and we discovered this restaurant by chance since we were really looking for a Kitesurf school. The owner treated us excellently, we had lunch and dinner several times there, the food was always delicious. We loved the location and the originality of the place. The Kitesurf school is also great, the guys (Mark & flick) treated us great. Very good vibes, always willing to give us options and they have new and very good equipment for rent, the price is fair. We had a wonderful time and we went with them to Funzi Island, which was a unique experience. 1000% recommended.

I am visiting DianiI have been visiting Diani since 2016, this year at the Kongoriver, this restaurant caught my eye. What struck me first was that it is accessible to everyone and not fenced in walls like some other restaurants in Diani. I am from Europe and i use to stay 5 month in Kenya. Every now and then there are moments where I really want to eat Italian food again. So estuary is the best option in Diani. Just delicious and fresh Italian food and with a super nice view. If you want to try local food, this is also the right place.

Most beautiful place in Diani 🤩🤩 The location, the fusion italian-kenya food and the staff are simply amazing. Thanks to Antonio and Miriam, they are the best host in Diani, i really feel home. Thank you guys. Hope to see you soon again. Ps. Best sunset view 🌅 you must try their home made pasta (gnocchi) and pizza as well.

Beautiful place and amazing people

Estuary is a fantastic place with lovely view and amazing people. They have great food! You should really try their steak and pizzas (best I had in Diani). This is also an awesome place to go kitesurfing. I used to step by in between my sessions to grab something to eat or drink :) Next time I'm in Diani I am revisiting for sure :)

Great place to be to hang out, drink and eat

Very nice atmosphere, great hospitality and authentic food for a fair prize! Perfect view on the baobab trees and the ocean, nice breeze in the evening. During the day the team of the restaurant took care of our belongings while we went snorkeling, very much appreciated! Antonio the owner seems to be a kite expert, he gave us very professional advice. Pay this place a visit and you won't regret it!

amazing place

This is my favourite place in Diani. They have amazing food and amazing vibe. The surrounding area's beauty is unique on the coast and so are the events organised by Antonio, Miriam and the team. For sports lovers, there's an opportunity to rent kitesurfing gear or take a kitesurfing lesson. Coffee's great, pizza's great, seafood's great and so is passion fruit juice. Try it all ;)

Great place to eat and chill in Diani Beach! Delicious food, friendly service and relaxing vibe. Real Italian pizza for the ones missing some european food during their vacation. Seafood platter with a lobster truly rocks!

Great restaurant, kite school and lovely peopl

This place will quickly become your second home - even when its the other side of the world. Absolutely lovely vibes, great and fresh food, amazing kite school, weekly bonfires, tables directly on the beach... really, what more can you ask for? It's located off the touristy part of Diani, which makes the vibe so much friendlier and more relaxed. There is also a lovely souvenir shop supporting local communities. It's the spot to go, whenever you want to grab something to eat, chill at the lovely and calm part of Diani Beach, learn how to kitesurf with a very experienced and knowledgeable instructors or just... sit dow, relax and enjoy the vibe - which we all did, for a month, and had an incredible experience. A MUST go.
