So I went on Sunday afternoon for a late lunch with my husband,He ordered a mai tai and I ordered reef breeze which were two different cocktails with different alcohol but they all tasted the same 🤦🏽‍♀️my point is their cocktails sucks. Secondly we ordered...a mixed grill each a plate with different side dishes after a hour of waiting the waiter comes with one meal en one bowl of rice mind you we didn't order rice 🤦🏽‍♀️so since it took soo long to make and we were damn hungry we decided to eat the one meal while they were making the other. We got tired of sitting there and decided to takeaway the other mixed grill. Getting home ready to serve our children the meat enthusiastically I was caught by surprise but no lambchops no nice pieces just different from what we had taken earlier that day. Man how do people work this way just how.More

After having lunch here 5 days in row, we have to admit the service is MUCH TO SLOW. There are not so many tables, and I expect much more for lunch-servings.We waited 45-60 min each time. Good food, but I expect cold drinks to be...more than luke warm. Especially whitewine.More

So we went tonight to the restaurant of the hotel to have dinner. If you are staying at the hotel let me tell you it’s not worth! The service was very very slow. Price are high , it’s expensive for what you get. They never...came to take our drink order so we went directly to the bar to ask. He was going to serve me warm white wine... so I had my glass of wine and 15 minutes later he had his beer. Than after an hour we were served the food. I have asked some breads and he took them 20 minutes to get it to me !!! My husband had already finished and I was starting to eat. When we complained they just said it happens and they had a rush (4 tables and around 10 people). Even the bill contained an error , they gave us cash for the difference. They just smiled at us continuously and we felt even worst like they were making fun of us. Obviously they did not offer something and hoped to see us back. We answered that this will never happen , we are not that stupid.More

We spend quite some time in the hotel and unfortunatelly also tried this restaurant. Prices are really high compared to other restaurants (eg 2x - 3x more than in the number 1 restaurant on Diani beach here on tripadvisor), unfortunately the quality of the food...is very low. Pizza was terrible, burger too.More

The Fins Seafood Grill at the Diani Reef is a great spot to have some awesome food as you look out at the beautiful blue waters of the Indian Ocean or do some people watching. If you are a romantic then this is the ideal...place for a romantic candlelight dinner as you watch the beautiful moon over the ocean. The Fins Grill offers an a la carte Mediterranean menu during the day and sometimes has a buffet in the evenings. Depending on what you fancy you can get some delicious seafood or just stick with various meats and veggies. I loved the choices that we had. I was at Diani Reef with my sister and nephew, and I loved the fact that they have a child-friendly menu and the chef was also at hand to be consulted on what my nephew might like. Before I talk about the food, I must talk about the service. The service makes you feel special, as the staff is on hand to make sure you are served in the shortest time possible. They are really friendly and very accommodative. The food is fantastic. One thing about Diani Reef is that they make you sample different restaurants on different nights. We were lucky that we got to spend our lunches and dinners at this scenic restaurant so we could get the best of the ambience and the mouth-watering dishes. The Fins Seafood and Grill has a menu with enough items for you to keep sampling new items for a couple of days without getting bored. It would be hard to choose a favourite from all the meals that we had, from the delicious Chicken and mushroom pizza to the fabulous chicken wrap to the succulent burgers to the fantastic tuna steaks. Their mushroom soup is amazing and their honey King Prawns are so tasty it brings tears to your eyes. Paired up with fresh cold juice, or madafu it was an awesome experience, both for the taste buds and the eyes. If you love seafood then King Prawns are sure to be a favourite. I loved everything, the food, the ambience and the service. Having a child with us, I was happy about how they are very accommodative of children. Adults too. Btw they also have four O’clock tea with some snacks which goes down well after a day at the pool.More

As usual, the food in a Restaurant that caters for too many nationalities starts to taste "blended" and not original. It is not bad but it pales compared to other seafood choices in Diani.
