I don't think I had high expectations, but it wasn't that busy to take forever to get a drink or an order taken. Service is bad and slow, and the fish was dry. The energy of the place is dead with everyone's just staring at each other wondering where their food is, though it's candle lit and intimate... but not... More

We were so surprised by this restaurant. The setting is stunning and unique (and the full moon made it even more exceptional) The wine selection was limited, but the food was really good! My husband and I both had the prawn piri piri which was great. The crepe suzette was a great 'show' as they come and cook it at... More

The cave setting is on the edge of a gimmick but works. The food was very good . Catch of the day was Cajun style was very tasty and the mushroom crepe while not very Kenya was excellent. Plating and table setting needs some work if one is looking to push standards to high international levels. A torch is a... More

I was not sure what to expect dinning in a cave but it was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and they had a great wine list. I strong recommend visiting when in diani it is a once in a life time opportunity!

It is about an incredible location, and a unique atmosphere. You are sitting in an old cave, under the open sky, with elegant service. I have to admit, I don’t remember the food, and I pretty don’t care too much about it.

Beautiful cave, but unfortunately terrible food. The fish and shellfish was rotten! I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Half of menu was absent. Salad was terrible. Disappointed. We were this place one year ago. It was better. Nice cave but kitchen and service are poor(((

We have been served old fish with a terrible smell. Two of us have been feeling bad the day after with diarrhea, fever and vomit.. This has been my worst experience ever! They try to cover the "bad smell" with spices and sauces. Very sad for such a beautiful restaurant.

We were five people in the group and we were all very unsatisfied with the food. We had two different kind of chicken and it was dry and not tasty. The tagliatelle with seafood and creamy sauce was terrible. The appetizer carpaccio had lots of salt, nearly no Parmesan, rucola or capers. The champignons provencale was average. The atmosphere is... More

The ambience of the restaurant is amazing as most of the other reviews have pointed out. Service was also good. Unfortunately the food does not live up to the setting. Reviewers praising the food are probably dazzled by the interior, in a forgiving mood due to being on holiday or don't eat out often. Some components were nice, but overall... More
