We went for an early evening meal, the restaurant was closed between 5 - 6.30pm. The menu is quite extensive and the portions are very generous. The food however was basic. There was quite a large noisy table in when we ate that were quite needy of the staff which in turn made our visit a lengthy one having to... More

We had lunch here on day when we all stayed at the little cove to swim and water ski.the food was lovely and the service was good! The menu tells the story of the family and the restaurant which is very interesting! Great setting and location right on the waters edge and the harbour! Hubby said the swordfish was fab!

Possibly the worst meal I have had in Greece and I have been going for 40 years. The pork in sauce was salty, the pork was not tender and the chips indifferent. Great view and possibly lunch would be a better choice.

First night of our holiday and it was a lovely meal. Great service from the family run taverna. It's got a very relaxed feel to the place as you might expect. Stunning view of the island from the table and with a light sea breeze. Food was enjoyed by all including two fussy teenagers. Two cats roam around the place... More

This was our first visit to Mitsos and unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to return although intended doing so. There is not much parking down by the beach but if you can get there early it is really worth the effort. The taverna is right at the waters edge and with the tables spread out there is plenty... This family owned/run Taverna was established in Nissaki in 1955 and has little changed over all the years, The position, on a small beach is to die for. The food is really delicious at a very reasonable price and you are given a warm welcome by the family. This was our first visit but we shall certainly go back on... More

After having eaten in many tavernas over the years we found this to be one of the best experiences. A typically family run tavern whose staff Dimitris , his mother ,aunt and two cousins always give you a warm welcome. Service is excellent as is the food,my favourite over the holiday was Sofritos slices of beef in a garlic sauce,the... More

While staying in a villa at the top of the hill, we visited the taverna four times. This taverna epitomises what everyone wants from a Greek taverna: fantastic views, good food and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are lovely, particularly Agatha the owner and Dimitris her nephew, who treated us like old friends after the first visit and even provided... More
