This is a popular restaurant in Dobbiaco and so it is best to make a dinner reservation. On a Tuesday in early July if you arrived at 8 pm you could be served outside (where it was cooler and a bit windy) with no delay , but otherwise there was a 30ish minute wait for a table. We ate indoors in one of several smaller rooms. The service was slowish, because the restaurant was so busy. The wait staff was friendly, multi lingual (even in English, although we interacted in Italian ) and made excellent recommendations when asked. We had 2 of their pizza and the goulash, which was very tasty. The pizza was quite good: I had a truffle pizza which was flavorful and tasty (although I found the crust a bit hard to cut). Unlike a previous review, I found the portions copious and my 21 year old kid declined the dessert menu after eating a pizza. The non pizza dishes include local foods that are worth trying. The servers made some excellent recommendations regarding local wines and after dinner drinks (grappe and alternatives) which we found interesting. A good experienced, but I’m glad we were able to make a reservation during the lunch hours to facilitate our meal.

I wanted to write a review of this pizzeria in Dobbiaco, which I found at the last minute on a cool Friday evening in mid-September. Without a reservation, the place was full, at the entrance I was told by the (I think) owner that a table would become available an hour and a half later. We accept, walk around the town, and promptly at 8.45 we are seated. In the short waiting time, with the place packed, we couldn't help but notice how the person at the entrance who managed the reservations had definitely gotten his job right. When you are dynamic, efficient, fast and go out of your way to try to satisfy everyone's requests, you have already done the bulk of the work. To top it all off, the pizza was very good, with a wide choice and excellent ingredients. I also appreciated the rest of the staff, quick and smiling. Modern and well-kept location. Compliments!

Restaurant / pizzeria in Dobbiaco with professional staff, nice furnishings, wide choice of dishes offered. We opt for pizza, there are over thirty on the menu. It is large, Roman style, well cooked and richly seasoned, I take one with mozzarella and spicy salami, and I struggle to finish it. Even my family members are very happy with their “pusterese” (from Val Pusteria I guess) with speck, sausage and mushrooms. Delicious Pizza

Even though we didn’t have a reservation, they were able to seat us quickly on the patio. We ordered pizzas for the family. They were delicious but the crust is thin and they went light on the toppings, so my teenage sons were still hungry when we left.

Place a booking and enjoy. We appreciate very much we got a table (outside) without booking. We were told the restaurant is fully book and only few seats outside were available; even although I said that’s alright we were asked of its really ok as I was wearing only a T (~16 degrees). We got some sheets and ordered some very delicious food! Totally recommend the Gullasch and the Mountain Burger!

Very nice and welcoming restaurant, we had dinner while it snowed and that made everything very magical. The dishes ordered (two seconds) were of good quality but the portion compared to the price did not conform. We will definitely return to try pizza.

Reservation required, definitely worth it. Excellent fettuccine with mushrooms and game sauce. We closed with a really good tiramisu what I enjoyed that I do not know if it was n case but in the room there were no children but they were all in the next room and this allows older people like us to dine in serenity

Walking around the snowy streets of Dobbiaco I decided to stop with some friends in this fantastic restaurant. The menu does not only include pizzas but also first and second courses. Excellent quality meat. There are both tables inside and outside the building. The staff is efficient and kind. The wait is quite short. The food is of excellent quality. It's not very cheap but you actually have to pay for the quality so that's fine. Definitely a pleasant experience. Recommended for a dinner with friends or family. I will return next year

We go here all the time in various seasons of the year and everything is always perfect. The pizza us great along with everything else. A must when in the area but make sure you book ahead since the restaurant is always busy

The food is sensational, the selection on the menu and the service - excellent across the board. Everything was really great - but the service was top notch. When I don't eat everything and am told that the food I take home might not taste quite as good as in the restaurant, I find that more than charming. But I can only say that the warmed-up version at home was also great. We'll be back 👍

Very delicious pizza and great place to eat

We haven't had a dinner reservation but the staff made sure to find a table for us. Staff is very friendly and the whole restaurant represents current rules regarding COVID-19. Food was amazing, just fantastic pizza.
