We had mixed feelings about our visit. In a group of four, who hadn't booked, but were lucky enough to get a table with a nice view, two were very happy with their meals, one was not, and one (me) was very happy with their meal, but left hungry:( The two who were happy, had fish and chips and risotto,... Food was good. Views spectacular. Best not to book too far ahead as bad weather can spoil the view. You can see across the ranges and Melbourne from there. For your first visit make sure you have cash to pay for the car park. You will be given a free pass for your next visit. Loads of walks and gardens... More

It helped that it was a glorious night so we had the best view of the sunset and city lights both from the outside terrace and from inside the restaurant. Our group of four were welcomed with a complimentary drink and free canapes which were excellent. It was a busy night but there were plenty of attentive staff and the... More

Great lookout if you're in the Dandenong Ranges. There was a nice little indoor/outdoor cafe area with the usual coffee, cake, ice creams and drink offerings. Bistro looked nice but we had afternoon tea in the cafe. Great views and a few walks in the bush setting, and some nice looking picnic spots.

The Christmas Dinner was very good. The food was replaced regularly. The heat was extreme again this year making it a little sticky if near the windows. (Sun Side). the meats were tender and well cooked. The salads were varied, and a little different. I personally did not like all of them. The lemon tart was very nice. There was... More

Very high expectations for Christmas lunch at $140 per head. Hellishy hot day but they wouldnt seat us until our exact time of booking even though the tables were all set. The food was lack lustre. I am not fussy but the salads were bland and looked like they werent given much thought. Beef was good, pork undercooked (bleeding and... More
