Very welcoming and beautiful place near to the Benedictine Archabbey.
This restaurant doesn’t have a big selection of food, but every plate is very well arranged and the portions are reasonably big. Every food look beautiful, but I could imagine more decoration with flowers. Try...the lemonade and home made soft drink made of lavender syrup, you can really taste the lavender.
As I always love to try something new, something different, I really enjoyed my visit there. For coffee and cakes I went to the village to Pausa Coffe House, which belongs to them.More
Great location near the Pannonhalma archabbey. Every things are great - architecture and interior, panoramic view, professional personal, delicious food. Thanks to the restaurant chef and director for they fantastic job. Today I can't to recall if it was chip or expensive - because of...great impression, if you understand what I mean.More
We dined at Viator on a Saturday evening when it was very quiet there, with only two tables being occupied. Perhaps it was still relatively early hours. Service was friendly and not rushed. The selection of food would have been agreeable if they had offered...more vegetarian/vegan dishes and more choices for people with special dietary requirements e.g. gluten and dairy free. Nonetheless, the food served was fresh, well seasoned and of excellent quality which was, understandably and as expected, duly reflected in the price. The portion sizes were on the large side for me and also considering that it is a fine dining place. All in all, Viator shows signs of an outstanding restaurant should they sort out their menu with vegetarian/vegan/gluten and dairy free options.More
We only wanted to have coffee and continue our trip, but checked the menu anyway. I fell for the cold salty cucumber soup, and it was a bullseye. Fresh, tasty, cold, an explosion of flavors and you definitely feel the cooling effect.
We ordered the 4-course menu and an extra main dish (for 2). Perhaps I am being impatient, but it took almost 2 hours to serve us all of the above. If we put that aside, the food was excellent, and it isn't that pricey for...a high end place.More
