Don’t try to be a fine dining restaurant, it’s better to do original Hungarian really good food! The “makos guba” was a wrong choice for this good old dessert! Don’t do new variation, the old one was much better!

We did not know this place before, just set down after a long walk. This a fine dining place, the food was very good and excellent made and served. However the portions are too small, while prices are too high.

The place has an amazing setting with a fantastic view. The stuff is helpful and friendly. The food is very good but the choice is a bit limitetd particularly considering you have to order minimum 2 course, so after the second time you are not...so willingly to go again.More

Everything was smooth and lovely. The service was nice, polite and professional. The starter that I had, the kohlrabi stew with sous vide lamb was the best dish I had for ages. It should be a main course! :) I enjoyed every minute of my...stay there!More

We stayed here with my friend (Hobbit guest house) over their last open weekend and we had an amazing time. The vinyard has a restaurant and several small guest houses. Our house was the furthest away, about 10 min walk or few min drive over...the hills. The check-in went very smooth and Fanni was super nice, welcoming and friendly during the whole booking and arrival process. The restuarant staff was super nice and professional, we enjoyed lunch and dinner as well here. The quality of the food was really exceptional, so we had no complaints, as well as the wine selection. On the plus side they only produce organic wine, so you have no problems the day after should you do a proper wine tasting :) The location is breathtaking and gives you a chance to walk around the hill, try out some other wineries as well or just to take a lovely walk. The house was super cute, very cozy, just like a little fairy tale house. We had everything we needed, the fireplace was a plus. Too bad they dont have any breakfast included... would be lovely to have that from next year. I hope to return, thank you for everything.More

It is a family run business with a restaurant and accomodation and with great wines! Their terrace reminded me of Provence, i completely forgot about the world during the sunset hours! They also have some cottages that you can book, so go for a wine...tasting then stay at the next door:)More

The waitress couldn't remember of what we ordered. We got extra soup, that we havent ordered and 2 glass of grape juice were missing. The grilled (twodie) chicken, wasn't grilled, as the menu says. The pear added to the chicken was actually a peach. The...steak wasn't medium as requested and the blue cheese was overgrilled, so to say black burnt. The plates were dirty and all together the whole place is overpriced. The view is beautiful but it is not worth to pay 3000-5000 for a dish and get that view in extra.More

It is a unique experience to have a dinner on the terrace on a nice summer evening. It is located on the Szent-György hill with a breathtaking view on Badacsony, the hills of Szigliget with the castle ruin and the lake Balaton. Most of the...guests keep on taking photos from the terrace. We were four and all had a three course dinner of various plates. All of them were gourmet quality. Service was friendly and professional. Wine selection of the estate is also one of the best in the region. A three course dinner with a glass of wine costs about 25-30 EUR person. Recommended.More

The restaurant belongs to the Szászi winery, so they offer a Szászi wine for each course, what unfortunately I could not enjoy as I had to drive. You can however buy wine in the wine shop to take away that we definitely did. The menu...contains only a few meals, but it changes every week depending on what they can get fresh. The meals were all very promising so that we probably could have selected any of them, we could not make a mistake. Everything we tried was very fresh and tasty. Fortunately there was a very nice weather so we could sit outside and could enjoy the wonderful scenery.More

Well, you have to drive from Budapest two hours or so to enjoy this gem. It's a winery with an amazing kitchen located somewhere close to the Lake Balaton. It's quite isolated, so you will either find it by accident or put the address in...your GPS. The food, particularly, is spectacular. It can easily compete with big-name restaurants all over the world. It has a small menu with just a few dishes, which I assume change all the time depending on what's fresh out there. Each dish has a special taste, totally uncommon compared to what you find in a normal restaurant. The rabbit roulade, for example, on a bed of risotto was amazing. The pikeperch was exquisitely cooked. The soups (carrot soup and mushroom soup available on the day of our visit) had a totally special taste. Add to that the perfect service (fast, obliging, informed waiters) and the view (the resto has a huge terrace viewing the vineyards all around) and you have a special treat that you will never forget.More
