We ended up here by accident after another nearby pub had an electrical failure and I’m really glad that we did. I’d heard it was pretty good from mates and we certainly had a warm and friendly welcome. After a delicious starter of calamari, we...did end up waiting an age for some of the mains and this review might have turned out very differently. But the server was very apologetic and explained how many covers had arrived at the same time and his pleasantness combines with the quality of the food saved the day. Really nice roast beef with all the trimmings, everything well cooked and seasoned. The best was saved for last - probably the best brownie and salted ice cream I’ve ever had and I don’t say that lightly. I’ll be back!!More

Couldn't fault a single thing. Covid measures all followed without ruining the atmosphere which some pubs & bars find very difficult to do. Staff were amazing and drinks were also great.

I drove for nearly 2 hours to meet my daughter here for a Sunday roast. She chose this place as it advertises a spectacular Vegan Sunday Roast. ..including yorkshire puds, cauliflower cheese the works. The first dinner that she was brought was a non vegan...roast with a nut roast instead of meat. This was taken a way to be changed whilst my dinner sat getting cold. After 5 minutes or so my daughter requested that they take my dinner to heat it up and re serve it when her meal was ready which was duly done. When the meals returned the waitress put my daughters plate in front of her and reeled off what she couldn't have...carrots, parsnips, yorkshires, cauliflower, ..as if she was creating a problem. I double checked the website and it clearly advertises a full vegan friendly roast dinner. So please be careful of what you are given if you have any special dietary requirements. We were given a refund for our food but made to feel as if we were a nuisance. The 2nd member of staff who served us originally had only recently joined the company and she was an absolute delight...charming, helpful and polite.More

Hi Janina, Thank you for your review and I'm so sorry for the obvious miscommunication of our plant based Sunday roast. The plant based roast doesn't come with cauliflower cheese because it's not plant based. Your daughter ordered a side of cauliflower cheese and asked...More

If you’re looking for superb food with a relaxed atmosphere in a great location on a Saturday afternoon, then this is definitely the place. Plenty of interesting options on the menu, with quite an emphasis on vegan options as well. I was tempted by the...vegan chilli actually, but plumped for the burger and chips instead. Maybe it was partly because I had just completed a 10k, but the chips were delicious and had a perfect sprinkling of salt. The way the chips had been coated and cooked really added to the texture and flavour too. The burger itself was very good - although maybe a bit too much beef-steak tomato included - with a tantalising chargrilled flavour and a wonderful mustardy sauce. My partner ordered an open ravioli dish, and thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. Facilities are cleaned and well-kept, with social-distancing measures in place and well adhered to. Another great feature was the payment; you ordered via an app and paid upfront. Once you’re done you just leave without hassle/stress or any waiting for a bill or pondering about a tip. The way of the future. I would definitely come back here again!More

A rarity, a new pub. Hidden away besides Kew Bridge. Lovely bright clean friendly pub on two floors. Well worth a visit.

Went for a meal in this amazing pub/restaurant overlooking the river Thames at Kew Bridge. The bar is a bit hidden from the main road but it is a true hidden gem. It is very spacious with lots of terracing outside. It has a warm...and friendly atmosphere. The food is top quality and the staff are super friendly and efficient. We were served throughout the evening by Maddie and all of my party were in awe at her lovely manner and her thoughtfulness and attention to detail I highly recommend this venue and we will definitely be backMore

Our first visit and most definitely not our last , The most amazing service from the second we arrived until we left , wonderful food and drink menu , I had the Cornish Dover sole and hubby a special , washed down with a couple...of cocktails. The waterside setting and overall ambience is second to none ! Felt very reassured and totally reassured at the obvious Covid measures in place.More

Nice setting overlooking the river. On a better day it would have been good to sit outside. Food delicious but a little bit pricy tho not outrageously so. Good service and drinks selection.
