One of the most traditional restaurants of Tiradentes, but seems to no longer zeal to maintain the original quality of food and service (slow and not friendly in an afternoon of not many customers).

I went there on a Saturday for lunch. No reservation needed. Just a 10 minutes walk from Largo das Forras, near Chafariz de Sao Jose, Virada's do Largo is also known as Restaurante da Beth. Very good regional food: I tried "feijão tropeiro" (excellent) and a local meat speciality called "trem bão" (good, if not extraordinary). Worth the visit.

Ask for the delicious okra appetizer wrapped on bacon. And for meal "mucadin de gostosura". Place is wonderful atmosphere.

Although the charming restaurant is a few steps from the center of the town, walking to the place is absolutelly worthy. The food is very original and tasty. The chef and owner of the restaurant, Beth, is a very nice person who is not afraid of sharing recipies and smiles.

2nd time around, food is still at high standards, which means amazing! Prepare to wait, but it's worth it. A visit to Tiradentes must include Virada's do Largo. I recommend a meal at 3 pm, so you can cover both lunch and dinner with this delicious food.

The place is really rustic as is the food. But is really great. Both the place and the food. Excellent minera food. Very friendly service. When you go in the winter, make sure that you take a good sweater with you as the whole place is open and it is around 50 °F!

In a hidden corner of Tiradentes, this restaurant offer the perfect regional food, served either, in individual or double portions. The cabbage of the side dish is harvested at the time of the preparation, and the plates are an explosion of flavors. The service is great, at honest prices. I believe this is one of the top regional food restaurants... More

I've never tried anyplace with so delicious food from Minas Gerais! The "tutu" was so tasty that was very difficult to stop eating - no joking! Definitely a must-eat place in town. Awards from a local guide since 1996.

A local owner of a gourmet jam shop recommended this to us and we're very glad she did! We had some really good roasted codfish with yam purée, fillet mignon with carrot spaghetti and a shrimp "escondidinho". All downed with a caipirinha made of excellent local cachaca and topped off with an unexpected desert: Mina's cheese ice cream with guava... More

We went there after seeing the reviews on tripadvisor. The place was nice, the kitchen was very pretty. The dishes did not take long and were very good, very mineira. We were just expecting a little more from the food.
