All reviews chicken sweet and sour pork noodles burger train station night train free wifi the owner couple of hours perfect place directly opposite the station long wait isn t convenient location two hours staff was friendly tasty food
The food and service was very excellent - we really enjoyed the fresh vegetarian spring roles and the sautéed garlic morning glory. After we paid and were about to leave the owner said why are you leaving so early the next train isn’t for a...couple of hours. We felt bad sitting at a table and not ordering. He was so nice we went back and actually ordered ginger honey tea which was some of the best we had! Thank you!More
Station and its surroundings isn’t the best spot to hang around asa tourist with your bags. Terminus has a comfy spot, Wifi, reasonable prices and quality wise of food to have a quick few hour stop before the night train leaves to Hanoi.
Had a...few beers , fresh springrolls and some great pasta that all got served quick and warm , before taking my last piece the plate was already taken.More
We arrived at Lao Cai early for our overnight train to Hanoi. Having two hours to spend, we searched for a restaurant near the train station.
This place is directly opposite the train station across the car park. The sign is lit and visible from...the train station.
Inside, there are a lot of backpackers and travellers. The staff are hospitable and offer you a place to place your luggage. We ordered 3 beef pho which came quickly and a grilled chicken that took a little while. The Vietnamese food was decent. However, the tomato juice did not look or taste like tomato juice.
It is a very good place to hang out and wait for the train. It feels like the unofficial ‘train lounge’ packed with travellers.More
We stopped in here on our way to Sapa. Had a well prepared meal and a drink. Very good service and hostess speaks English. Its a nice place to grab something to eat and recharge after the train from Hanoi, plus its open very late...and easy to find across the parking lot from the Train Station.More
