We were perusing the menu when approached by a very friendly Kostis who convinced us to give his Taverna a go. Unfortunately the friendly welcome was by far and away the best part of a disappointing evening. The food was very average lacking in any frills and I would guess heated up to order. The waitress kept giving us food... More

Luckily, this restaurant was open even though it was a national religious holiday! Kostis himself welcomed me and was very accommodating. I ate fried sole with garlic (garlic mayo, in fact, a little disappointing) and grilled cheese as a starter. Liked the starter a bit better, it was a bit tastier with vegetables. A nice surprise was the free baklava... More

Frindly owner and wife, good food, good price. I should recommend fried zuccini along with fried small fish "gavros" (kind of Hamsi-gümüş fish). The location of the restaurant is not very adorable, it is in the heart of Limeneria with no view of sea but it you are stying in that place, it is recommended.

We have stopped here by chance and had... schnitzel. It was good, properly sized and very clean. Unlike other restaurants in the area which brings a lot on the same plate (salad, tzatziki sauce) everything here comes separately and costs the same. However my personal opinion is that the quality is better. The service is rather slow and the waiters... More

A plesant wellcome. That really counts. Kostis ... a sort of Anthony Quinn. Greek. I can easily imagine him dancing on the melody from "Zorba the Greek". If he has time. He is more than present at the tavern. The food is very tasty. I am saying ... that's because it's cooked with care and love. Tzatziki is good. It's homemade... More

We enjoyed a lovely meal at Kostis last month whilst staying in Limenaria. Kostis gave us a warm welcome ,There was a good choice of traditional Greek dishes on the menu. I am vegetarian and Kostis advised me to try their stuffed tomatoes and peppers with Greek potatoes. I thoroughly enjoyed it too! My husband tried beef with rice which... More
