This charming seaside hotel from 1904 offers good homemade food at a reasonable prices. We had a 5 course menu at 26 euro. Especially liked the duck salad. The waiter was friendly and professional. The music was great too (duo with pop classics etc). Also a perfect place for a sunset gin and tonic. We will be back, and then... More

Just eaten at L'Encarnacion! What a disappointment, was not offered the happy hour or set menu ? They even charged for the bread that wasn't ordered ... service came without a smile and the food was not to die for!! Rice and fish disgusting... left a taste and left the bones!! Will not return again what a shame .....

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Los Alcazres-its well away form the Tourist Strip at the top of the town close to where the down originally developed..There would have been a settlement here from Roman times for the salt flats that surround the area and it was of course where a lot of Spanish Aviation history evolved from the... Very comfortable seating, attentive staff and relaxing atmosphere. My husband and I really enjoyed our tapas and ordered raciones (larger than tapas portions) to share but found it a struggle to finish it all, which concerned the waiter as he thought there was a problem with the food. Would suggest ordering the tapa portion to start!

We have been to L'Encarnacion on several occasions, but only ate from the Tapas. This time we went with friends and ate off the main menu. The main course was fantastic as was the dessert. We were so impressed we went back a second time. Both times we managed to get a table at the front so we could see... More

Been before for evening meal which was nice so returned for something new. Great selection and very good food. Views across the Mar Menor from the terrace add the final touch. Indoors is worth a look as based on old Cuba décor.

Our first trip to L.A. so I picked this restaurant from reviews and also recommendations from my posts as it seemed to be a genuine restaurant rather than those just aimed at the tourists in the "new town". We stumbled across the restaurant on our first day walking along the promenade so we had a quick look at the menu... More

This is a great traditional bar right on the beach with a lovely terrace and an old courtyard. It has some traditional bathrooms (Banos is in the full title) but we couldn't see them. The singer was using them as a changing room..... We didn't eat here but pre-dinner drinks are great. And afternoon drinks in the sun. It's a... More

This was our first visit in the evening, we have called for tapas or a drink previously during the day. We wanted to see the flamenco show on Sunday evening & booked a table in advance. We were seated inside the grand old hotel and our only complaint was that we were not offered the set menul & had to... More

Had breakfast (good value) and lunch here many times. The food is really good especially the Tapas. Staff are always helpful and you never feel rushed. You have a wonderful view over the Mar Menor, on some nights of the week they have flamenco dancing. Will certainly continue to use for many years to come.
