Every single time that we dine at Morgon we have always been enchanted by the family, waitstaff and of course the cuisine. My favorite is the foie gras and peaches followed by braised meat (beef cheeks especially) It is a konoba but in truth it...is surely a fine dining spot at this point in their progression. Probably not the best place to bring young children unless they have been trained to sit at the dining table of fine cuisine restaurants and behave properly. Presentation and service compares to that of any 5 star restaurant. Prepare yourself for this outstanding culinary experience. A reservation is a must (by the way folks; empty tables doesn't mean that they are not reserved in advance. That's not how restaurants work. Especially during this pandemic, restaurant staff the world over is doing the best that they can) Order some of the wonderful and carefully crafted dishes from the lovely menu and a bottle of fantastic wine; spend a few hours and enjoy this magical place! We were there for a lunch with kids. Although the restaurant was basically empty, they took a second thought to serve us, since we did not reserve a table, and it was their period of day when they prepare themselves for dinners. The food was...really good. The staff was professional but there was a feeling we were not welcome.More

If where, here I feel like I'm in Tuscany. The terrace views overlooking the Istrian hills are breathtaking, the hospitality, the food, everything is 10+. I prefer sitting outside, but inside is also very charming. I loved the vine.

This restaurant is fine dining restaurant in spite of the name "konoba" which would imply more homemade food and atmosphere. It is situated in beautiful scenery on top of the hill and above vineyards so the view from the terace is spectacular! If possible ask...to be seated there. The menu is not very big and is based on meat raised on the property. Everything is very tasteful although the portions very not particularly generous. Veal with pumpkin gnocchi wqs very good, but the side dish of grilled vegetables with beefsteak was too small in comparison to meat. I was unpleasantly surprised that generally very kind waiter didn't get me salt in spite of asking twice because there were not enough saltmill! Also we were not informed about wine since it seems that it is special service which you have to pay extra. Chocolate suffle with truffles was the best!More

Our experience few days ago were terrible, waiter didn’t even say hello and trying to ignore us completely. We were waiting for 15min and they were avoiding us. We left as I never seen such a unprofessional service in their vicinity you can find much...better options. They obviously full of them selfs.More

We had a great four course tasting menu with wine pairings for a very reasonable price. Service was great, the sunset was the best in Istria. Great service from Nedelka who did our pairings. Will be back!!

Family friendly, good food. Everything was very good. Stuff was also very friendly. For such a good food is not too expensive.

A true traditional Istrian gastronomic experience! Dried shoulder blade meat, Istrian sausages, stuffed pastas, young cheeses, strong soups, roasts and wild game are a cooking rhapsody. Welcome and... Enjoy your meal!

The view from the terrace is great, but we came for the food which was fabulous 🤩 The hardest part is to decide what to eat since everything on the menu sound wonderful. Definitely make sure you have some room for the dessert 🍮 We...highly recommend it!More

Not sure if this is a 2 or a 3 point...but I know they can do better so 3 because of that. Maybe it was just a bad day for them but...firstly, we came to the restaurant, with a reservation and waited several minutes for...somebody to even notice us. Until I said something, nobody looked at us. Then, they had no idea where to sit us, although there were several tables free - I asked for a different table and they gave it to us, so this is a plus. After being sitted, almost half an hour went and nobody came to serve us, although waiters were walking around us. After I made a complaint, we were served, but I had a feeling it was in such a rush, nothing was explaind to us, not the food, not the wine... About the food- I said I am a vegetarian and still received assparagus soup with fried bacon. Ok, I don’t make a big deal out od this usually, I just removed the bacon. The soup was almost tasteless. I had pasta with truffels - horrible, the worst I ever had in Istria and I have had a lot of it. The pasta was well undercooked, very humble portion, tasteless (and it has truffels!) - basically just pasta with cooking cream and few leaves of truffels. My husband had a pepper steak, he says the meat was tender but sauce nothing special, he eat much better. On the side he had fried potato, very greasy. The desserts were very good. Wine - we were not asked if we wanted by the glass, so we were given the whole bottle, which we did not want, but it was not a problem for them. Also we were given the couvert for free because ofall the waitting. Overall, quite disapointed, as it was Easter and we were looking forward to a good lunch.More
