Imagine it...crisp white table cloth, gleaming glasses set next to crusty pain...followed by the best slow cooked lamb shoulder with vegetables I have had. It comes to the table in a piping hot terracotta pot and was served to is by the maitre D one at a time. The wine was just the house red and blew us away too.... More

A great dinner party. The grilled meat is always fantastic here, and the cod was super. The wines are very special of course. With such a fabulous bodega to draw on how could they fail!

Spanish restaurant serving great quality food ...slow roast lamb was the best ever ... The wine selection is also great with its own bodega on site....we went on a very rainy day in November the restaurant although busy in the summer was very quiet and very cold with no heating .....such a shame as food and wine are great.....bit on... Excellent food and setting. Lots of Spanish locals use the restaurant, which is testament to its standards.

We have been visiting this restuarant every summer for the past 10 years. It has always been excellent and our family love it. We visited it last Wednesday and it was up to its usual high standard. The menu includes a lot of local dishes which are varied and always worth trying. The service is excellent and courteous.

food was just ok, nothing special. After finishing my dinner went to the bodega to buy wine and looking at the decanters i grabbed one and I was told that "I shouldn't touch it only look at it as they cost money". I replied that if their clients have problem with money is not my concern but money isn't a... More

A great place to eat. setting is lovely. Food is great. Good wines from the bodegas. Children well catered for - there is a playground. Tables well spaced and the playground set to the side so it still feels discreet and calm. Here comes the but. Probably he most constantly miserable staff in the Alicante region. I keep going back... We have eaten here several times, both inside and outside. Our latest visit was an outside dining experience on what was a very busy evening for the restaurant and its staff. Even though they were having to work hard, all the staff were very friendly - even appreciating our efforts at some admittedly fairly basic Spanish conversation! We both opted... More

My daughter had a great time, it is perfectly setup for children to play while parents eat. The food is nice, my lower rating just reflects an average dining experience for a relatively high price. Recommend the creme brûlée for a bit of theatre. The lamb was fine, the duck so so. Would probably go again. 3.5 out of 5.
