Look, this is a very good restaurant, great views, great wine list, staff are lovely. However, this is proper Valdaostan cuisine - seriously heavy stuff. My velouté was about 30% cream, 30% olive oil, my wife's 'lactose-free' trota cruda came with an enormous dollop of cream in the middle - if you are not local, you probably want to ask... More

It's a good restaurant with fab views over the mountains. It feels a little stuffy inside, it's a small-ish room with not much ventilation. The food is nice though a little on the heavy side. Ample use of cream, butter and oil everywhere. Mostly meat-based dishes as you'd expect on the mountains, with the only fish fishes being a salmon... More

The food was as good as the service which was as good as the view. We had a veal carbonara which takes 10 days of marinating to prepare - and it shows.

the restaurant Lou Bequet is a place where you can taste haut cuisine at reasonable prices. The menu offers a variety of local dishes contaminated with new and original ideas. And every time they have special dishes to choose from. What I really like here is that they offer their exquisite cuisine at affordable prices and the atmosphere is very... More

Very special place with superb atmosphere and most importantly GREAT FOOD! The food was so tasty and cooked with perfection that I am still thinking of booking my trip to Italy and going back to Lou Bequet on my arrival! The service was great. The staff were very friendly. I would recommend however to book a table at least one... More

We had been here 2 years ago. And it was a very good experience. So this time we decided to go back. The restaurant looks very nice inside and outside and you can easily park your car. The waitresses were very neutral in their welcome. When we booked the table we had informed them that we were coming with a... More

We found this place during a long walk in the region and decided to try it. So glad we did as the welcome received as we booked was equally as good as that on the evening we arrived for our table. The menu and specials were explained to us in English and the pace at which the courses were brought... More

Fantastic restaurant. Lovely atmosphere, excellent menu - especially the 'specials', friendly and very good service, and at a very reasonable price. We ordered a mixture of a la carte and daily specials and everything was superb. The only downside was that the restaurant was closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so we could only visit once!

We booked this restaurant one day in advance in a non touristic period and it was full, so better book. Inside is small and cosy, very nice and familiar. Menu is not super wide, but everything is excellent. We tried many things as we were 6 with kids and the tartare, the crespelle valdostane, the pasta and last but not... More
