We visited the Sail Loft after our visit to the castle on St Michael's Mount. We wanted a tasty lunch and this is what we got. There was a good selection of dishes at a reasonable price. The service was friendly and our order arrived promptly. Would be happy to return here again

My partner and I visited St Michael's Mount as part of our stay in nearby Sennen Cove. After the lengthy climb up to the Castle and back down again we were both hungry and in need of a sit down. The Sail Loft could not have been more perfect! The restaurant was heaving and we were lucky to find a... More

The menu at this cafe is a bit limited though I couldn't fault the ham and mustard sandwich I had. Accompanied by a ruby beer it cost just over £10 in total, which is about par for the course at a visitor attraction these days. The ruby beer, a local product, was excellent. Had it not been a glorious sunny... More

We visited on a sunny (but windy) day in July. The fact it could provide gluten free food was a huge factor in eating here - and we weren't disappointed. They serve gf scones, sandwiches and brownies - my daughter had a gf sandwich which she would recommend. I would recommend the cream tea. Friendly and helpful staff too.

A cream tea par excellance. The national trust certainly know how to do a cream tea and this was no exception. The staff were a bit surly though. Nicely decorated tea room.

Good food, good value so worth a visit. It's very busy when we were there, so allow for this, especially perhaps if your children are hungry. Outside seating on sunny days.

Really loved this little dining experience. Neat, tidy & fresh. We had a sandwich & slim fries which we shared due to having reservations elsewhere that evening (sadly) as would have liked more. The pot of tea for one produces 2/3 cups, so that could be shared if you wanted to. £13 for the lot. Very lovely dining experience. will... More

We went in for a tea and scones was quite expensive and tables were messy nobody was cleaning up wasn't that busy. For families it would work out expensive but food nice.
