We visited the Foresters Arms again for lunch and evening meal. We had forgotten it was Quiz Night but enjoyed the atmosphere and although we did not take part ourselves we gave a helping hand to a nearby table. Friendly staff. We would recommend the sausage and mash - a real treat with lovely onion gravy. Amazed at how they... More

Stayed here with a group of friends for a walking weekend. The staff could not do enough for us. Good food, good location and good pub atmosphere. Facilities somewhat limited because it is an old building but really, really enjoyable.

Although we were tired from walking round Malham for hours we spent a couple of hours here. It was a great atmosphere with people making you feel welcome. Chill Pill, a local band played and they were really friendly and really good. Shame we didn't stay out all night. Will definitely be back.

Lovely setting in the heart of the 'old' village. Good food, fine company , helpful and communicative staff. Wonderful breakfasts using local produce. Set us all up for the day's walk. Evening meals wholesome food - the Lemon Posset sweet was especially good. Whole weekend great value with local beers to drink.

On the positive side service was good and they took time to explain the gluten free options to my daughter. In addition my children's meals were good. I had the Sunday roast (beef) which was a disappointment. Not great beef with uninspiring roast potatoes and veg. All in all a little tasteless. I think we'd return but I'd choose something... More

Only ate one night but what a great choice. Menu was excellent and quality of food brilliant. Staff serving was also very good and the atmosphere was top notch; a must for meals and atmosphere.

This seemed to be where many locals met as well as tourists. It had a wider choice of meals and very large portions. If, like me, you cannot manage larger meals there is a selection of lighter meals on offer. Prices were very reasonable.

On our latest visit to Grassington we called in at the Foresters Arms for a swift drink before lunch as the weather had put the dampeners on our planned walk . Glad we did , as the rains got gradually worse it was plain to us that walking would be cancelled so what better to do than sit beside a... More
