Delicious food, friendly waiter, only the music.... We had duck with fruity sauces, celery - pear-purree, Gnocchi, beetroot, blackberry sauce. Polish beer is very nice. Close to the market place

This was the second time we'd eaten here. The restaurant is off the small rynek. Very busy on holidays and weekends. Food was excellent. I even bought a small painting that was hanging in the restaurant. It was painted by a local artist.
First time we had visited it two years ago. Everything was were tasty. However when we had to pay we were informed that the card terminal is broken and we had to pay by cash. Yesterday we again visited it and the situation was the...same we were not able to pay by card (again terminal was broken, is it accident, I do not think so. Te owner won't use card payments). So if you haven't got cash you must look for another restaurant nearby.More
We tried the regional cuisine place on the Rynek but thought it ovetpriced so came here instead. Be warned - you have to wait 40 minutes for your order if busy, but it is worth it. The braised lamb (pln 49) - unavailable in most...of Poland - is delicious and unctuous. My son had the beef burger (pln 29) and my wife the unusual golabki stuffed with potato in a wild mushroom sauce which she enjoyed. For young kids their is rosol (pln 10) and chicken (pln 20). The 1 litre lemonade (pln 25) does the job on a hot day. Total bill pln 159 for 2 adults/2 kids.More
The food was delicious. I ordered penne meal, well flavoured and tasty. Pleasant experience. Perhaps the music was a bit louder for my taste. Thank you.
Tasty, freshly cooked dishes. Toilets situated extremely close to the tables what isn't comfortable. Rest all good!
We've been to several popular places in Poland and always trying out the local food. Stary Kredens was by far the best Polish food we had. We had steak tartar, zurek soup, pierogi, lamb. Everything was delicious, the service was nice and fast. The place...is furnished as in 1930s. It's conveniently located next to the main square and within walking distance from the Sanok castle which hosts the world-known collection Beksinski's paintings.More
Went for Lunch with the family. Portion sizes were good and the food delicious. The wait staff were very attentive. The place was busy but we didn’t wait long to be severed of for our food to come out. There were 6 of us and...we ordered an arrange of meals and shared.More
We was here and want to try this place, it was friendly service, but the food they should make better than this, dry and not tasty, and also should look netter on the plate, the chees cake was also dry? Change the chef in kitchen
Friendly service, tasty food but not splendid and a bit to expensive for what you get. My dish didn’t have enough of sauce and a wine glass which was supposed to have 150ml had probably 110 and not more. Good but small soups vs. price.
I was impressed to visit such a great place in a small town Sanok. The food was really tasty and everything was made from scratch. It was a great opportunity for me to try really Polish food made with love. I loved pierogi and duck....The dessert were so tasty ♥️ The restaurant is own by a family: a lady and her husband that are from Sanok region. I had an opportunity to talk to the owner and got some information about Stary Kredens. Each detail in the restaurant has its own story. I really hope that Stary Kredens will be in Warsaw one day.More
Dinner at this restaurant is a delicious reward. Fine place to spend a time with your family and eat.
If I got it right, Stary Kredens has been transformed into a gourmet restaurant by a Polish celebrity-restaurateur Magda Gessler. I’ve no idea how was the food before the transformation but presently it’s simply delicious. Pierogi were amazing but goose roulade was really something special,...succulent and tender, definitely best goose I’ve had. If I get a chance to visit Sanok again, I’ll definitely visit Stary Kredens once more. Helpful and discreet staff.More
Great atmosphere, helpful staff, prices good, food very well made and presented (think modern slant on traditional dishes) and one of the best draught beers I've ever tasted, wish I could remember the name! Probably nicest restaurant in Sanok.
The restaurant is decorated like XIXth century house, very stylish. The offer a choice of Polish traditional cuisine with their own twist. I had: -garlic soup - a delicacy! Smmoth, creamy and not too strong! -cabbage stuffed with potatoes in mashroom sauce - a very...good dish, the sauce takes you to the forest... -duck - the weakest of the dishes. It is a half of duck baked and served with potato dumplings and a coleslaw. The meat is correct but the sides make no sense - these dumpljngs are made to be served with a sauce. Not enough sides ckmpared to the quantity of meat. -excellent basil lemonade The service is fine but not great - they do not know how to correctly serve, for example they give you your dish to the hand. They have children menu.More
