Had dinner with friends in a very elegant atmosphere. Dinner was a large tasting menu with many modern interpretations of typical dishes. My favourite was the brodetto alla sambenedettese Even better if you’re sat outside or by the window

We visit Attico sul Mare every year. They are so good that I asked them to cater for a very special birthday party at our house with guests from around the world. Amazing food, attentive and kind service and the love that goes into every...detail is why we return year after year.More

Amazing restaurant with great setting for a wedding party. The roof terrace had a great view of the beach and the seafood menus were excellent!

I definitely recommend this restaurant everything we experienced was wright. Very busy place with locals which is always a good sign in a touristic place. The service was excellent and food super delicious, raffinate but simple in taste, you could feel the freshness. Next time...in the area we'll visit again for sure.More

Besides being my son's favourite restaurant, we found the service impeccable, the food exquisite, and the location as usual is fabulous. We have dined here before and decided to use the location for our son's first comunion...We were not disappointed and we strongly recommend Attico...sul Mare for any occasion.More

This place is taking a lot of good reviews so being in the city often wr had to try it out too sooner or later. Lets be sincere the place is what feared to be snobby but hoped only to be raffinated. Unfortunately our fear...turned out to be true. Entering the restaurant on the top floor of the building we saw a lot of wealthy looking people and thats probably normal as the prices are 2-3-4 euro higher per dish than other places. What is not normal is that you have a couple managing the place, the woman look at us when we entered and when we left the restaurant without as much as a smile or even a goodbye. Nothing. While she had a lot of smiles and friendliness when walking around the tables ensuring that those looking/being wealthy were having a good time. Hopeless! The male part of the couple was fine without showing any sincere interest. We kind of figured out that this place was trying to profile itself as a somewhat 5 star/VIP place and thats fair enough, perhaps we don't enjoy that type of atmosphere but at least we were hoping for a good experience in terms of service and food. Service was pompous, they come with the bread and explain what each of the 5 bread types were, while asking for a Pecorino white wine they would come with an already open bottle poor it into your glass without showing you the bottle or label nor explaining anything about it or even asking if the wine was ok. Nothing! The food part was the only thing left to save the evening. My companion had sushi which was definitely good! I had a main dish of codfish with a potato composition and a kind of white cold saucy thing on top. It was an ok dish but certainly not above average of what you can find of dishes elsewhere in this marvelous coast city. The sauce was put on top of everything which made it difficult to distinct the various ingredients in the place. This is a soulless place with a lot of attitude issues selling expensive food to wealthy people. Grottammare is full of nice restaurants with high quality food, relaxing atmosphere and friendly service and thats where we will go next time.More

I've taken my family to this fine restaurant a number of times and it is consistently good. Good service, innovative & traditional food, meat for those like me who don't enjoy the great fish and shellfish the rest of my family enjoy. And the setting...is wonderful looking out across the sea. For some reason you have to take a lift up and down to get to the 'attic' but don't miss it because it's above your head as you stroll along the seafront - look up!More

My wife and I have been to Grottammare many times before but we just discovered this restaurant on our past trip. We wish we had known about it earlier because it is a notch above most of the area restaurants. The service and food are...excellent and the view of the Adriatic is outstanding. We were so impressed we went back for another dinner during our 7 day Grottammare stay.More

I'm writing in English even if I am Italian in order to promote my favorite restaurant, "Attico sul mare": I was born nearby Grottammare, but I travelled a lot during my life, I studied in U.S. and in Paris, where I live and work at...the moment. Telling about "Attico sul mare" is complex: this restaurant attracts me like a magnet and I go there each single time I come back home. Starting with the classy and,at the same time, friendly atmosphere, passing by the raffinate selection of foods and wines (I love the grilled tuna steak topped with sesame seeds served with "Passerina" or "Pecorino" white wine and their particular Sushi revisitation using typical Italian ingredients such as Parma ham and melon), ending with a gorgeous staff that takes care of you even after dinner, organizing unforgettable events with famous italian singers and renowned DJs... All this and even much more, considering the location in one of the most suggestive place of the entire "Riviera delle Palme", i.e. the Kursaal building with its breathtaking view on the Adriatic sea from the restaurant's little tower (so romantic ;) )... Maybe I'm partial because I miss home, btw I can assure that you will have a wonderful time at "Attico sul mare", and that you will passionately desire to come back, as always happens to me :D ENJOY GUYS!!!!More

The restaurant is beautiful not less the amazing Adriatic sea view you can admire from the third floor. There is also a fantastic area on the last floor where you can eat in summer time but at the time was still closed. I've been there...for a business lunch with some italian clients and I must say even the food was great, actually I wasn't expecting it to be so good. My clients had a selection of cold and warm starters that looked great eventhough I had some sushi and some sashimi. I was surprised by the good quality of it. With regards to pasta dishes, the home made ravioli stuffed with langostines served with fresh italin cherry tomatoes is a 'must'. A proper mix of italian tastes. We didn't manage to have any main courses but I'll go strait for them next time I'll be in Grottammare. The roasted fish served to the table next to us looked fantastic. Good selection of italian wines from all regions and very professional service. Price? Nothing more than average restaurants would charge you but with great quality here......If you pass by give it a go.More
