Unforgettable tagliata and desserts

This restaurant is quite famous in the area for the very good quality of the dishes, however tagliata and desserts are outstanding. I ate here after discovering that my hotel wasn't serving dinner that evening. The meal was lovely, I had fettuccini bolognaise (when in Bologna) and a decadent tiramisu. The staff were friendly and helpful what with my abysmal Italian. What impressed me the most was after being told it was close by my hotel, the taxi ride out there cost... More

Stopped by hear for lunch on our way down the highway. Food here is great, albeit on the pricey side. We really enjoyed the steak and the pasta bolognese.

Typical Italian homemade food served in this busy trattoria. Food cooked to perfection with very acceptable service in a vibrant atmosphere.

Hi. From outside you won't pay a penny for this restaurant. When you just get in it looks rustic but then you start eating. Starter in the average, first course wow, second course (tagliata) it's simply fantastic. It's served in pan full of olive oil and you just help yourself. After the tagliata the waitress asked for eggs in the... More

We went to this restaurant for lunch. They didnt have a menu so the waitress told us what they have. We order tagliatelle con ragu, ravioli, marinated beef and roasted vegetables. Tagliatelle were fine, ravioli too small portion, my husband like the beef but for my taste were floating in oil. Vegetables were good. Price was around 30 eur per... More

This is a hidden gem just outside of Bologna that serves up terrific homestyle Italian food. It is very close to the highway and makes a convenient place to stop for passersby. But it was also popular with the townsfolk by all appearances. Our Italian colleague took us to this place for lunch on our way from Milano to Pisa.... More

I've been traveling from Canada to Italy for 8 years now and we always try to find time for this little gem. The pasta is fantastic but the beef is hard to beat. And when it's gone, have the egg! I'll keep going back.

"Half of Bologna comes here for the famous tagliata, the other half comes here for the desserts". I think this is in a nutshell all there is to say about this outstanding family run restaurant just outside Bologna. It is easy to reach it, just take the road towards the Fiera and keep going straight towards Ferrara. Once you get... More
