Even though the menu is limited, the fish and salad of the Casa Africa are good value and tasty. And even though this is a major tourist stop, try to grab a table outside that looks over the sea.

Stopped off here for lunch whilst on an excursion tour of the area, no menu only had a choice of either fish complete with head and tail or Spanish omelette which we chose .Meal came with a salad bowl containing some fruit, canarian potatoes, bread and red wine, price was €10 each. Place might not be everyone's choice but we... More

All we could eat for 11 euros each ! Bread, salad, fish, canarian potatoes and mojo sauce plus soft drinks or wine - and it was delicious ! Staff busy but pleasant and there is a clean loo and small shop. Taganana is a beautiful place, well off the beaten track but so worth a visit if you have a... More

We were told to visit here but it was packed on our arrival so we waited until after the Sunday midday rush, well worth the wait as all the locals arrived and the live started, if the locals eat here in such high numbers that's a good sign. Seafood is fresh and well cooked and the potatoes and veg equally... More

The place looks a bit run-down from the outside, also from the inside, but you shouldn't mind, as a.) it provides the Restaurant with a special charm and b.) it was the best seafood meal i had on the whole Island! They don't have a menu, you can only choose from what they actually caught in the ocean that day,... More

My wife's Spanish family live on the island and they recommended Casa Africa. They provide honest simple and fresh Canarian food. Its the best fish, papas arrugadas mojo (sauce/dip) I have had in all the years we have been coming to Tenerife. Its a busy place, but well worth making the amazing drive down to the coast to just beyond... More

We stopped here for a snack and a beer, had papas arrugadas and local fresh goat's cheese. Both were delicious and the mojo (sauce/dip) was incredible; such intense flavours, more so than other ones I've tried. Great location and delicious food, well worth a visit! P.S. pic shows half finished potatoes!

We stopped in for a bottle of wine and a snack. It does not look like much, but is settled across from the ocean with a beautiful view. There is no menu and the wine came in whatever bottle was available. Wine was better than many table wines and the food was tasty. Local olives, cheese, wine and seafood. Unique... More
