I have been there with my family and what a surprise: we had good local cuisine, and live music when one of the stuff member decided to play a guitar. Unforgatablle and astonishing. Worth a trip to Casa Africa!

Hard to get too and not worth the trouble despite all the recommendations. Food was simple but acceptable. Service lamentable and uncharacteristically unfriendly. Caters for tours and bulk feeding. Toilet facilities appalling ( and that is the ones not out of action)

Huge restaurant in the back although I recommend you sit outside to get a good view of the beach. Very simple menu: the waiter just gave us three choices: salad, fish and/or octopus. The few waiters are extremely busy given the size of the restaurant. Getting our bill was a huge pain and would have taken forever if we didn't... More

Even though the menu is limited, the fish and salad of the Casa Africa are good value and tasty. And even though this is a major tourist stop, try to grab a table outside that looks over the sea.

Stopped off here for lunch whilst on an excursion tour of the area, no menu only had a choice of either fish complete with head and tail or Spanish omelette which we chose .Meal came with a salad bowl containing some fruit, canarian potatoes, bread and red wine, price was €10 each. Place might not be everyone's choice but we... More

All we could eat for 11 euros each ! Bread, salad, fish, canarian potatoes and mojo sauce plus soft drinks or wine - and it was delicious ! Staff busy but pleasant and there is a clean loo and small shop. Taganana is a beautiful place, well off the beaten track but so worth a visit if you have a... More

We were told to visit here but it was packed on our arrival so we waited until after the Sunday midday rush, well worth the wait as all the locals arrived and the live started, if the locals eat here in such high numbers that's a good sign. Seafood is fresh and well cooked and the potatoes and veg equally... More

The place looks a bit run-down from the outside, also from the inside, but you shouldn't mind, as a.) it provides the Restaurant with a special charm and b.) it was the best seafood meal i had on the whole Island! They don't have a menu, you can only choose from what they actually caught in the ocean that day,... More
