Set way off the beaten track , a great location that is obviously on the up, having sought a niche in the market to cover for slow times. They are a traditional pub that offers a varied menu. But also facilitates functions. An extension to...More

In a gorgeous area of the island this pub has lovely home grown food. The menu is quite restricted so beware the fussier eaters but they still have traditional pub offerings of soup, fish and chips and a burger.

It’s been 20 years since I last headed off the beaten track to the Ferry Inn ... the view hasn’t changed but once a quiet pub is now a Kentish food delight. Great range of local beers and wine combined with local produce to create...More

This pub is well off the beaten track but well worth the journey. Good locally sourced food. Its best to book a table at weekends. Wonderful location on the edge of the river.

We enjoyed a lunch time meal. Food was great, we had visited here in 2016 and it was still as good. They do a Mon to Fri deal but as this was a Sunday the same food was about £7 more per person. This said...More

I had heard that this Inn was a great place to eat, but unfortunately I was disappointed. My starter of French onion soup was tasty but just warm. My main course of Catch of the day fish and chips with mushy peas. The fish piece...More

It seemed pretty accessible when we visited but I seem to remember an internal step or two which might restrict your table choice. If visiting in the summer they have lots of outside tables too which will be accessible.
