I've harped on about this pub in the past and on this occasion like the others they didn't disappoint. The atmosphere was welcoming and buzzing. Five of us in the party three had the beef and the rest had chicken all enjoyed our meals. Vegetables...More

Waited 50 minutes for a very basic roast dinner. Over boiled cabbage, boiled carrots and burnt Yorkshire puddings and cauliflower cheese. Kids were so fed up we didn’t hang around for dessert.

We were out walking on Sunday 17th September and came upon the New Inn. Unfortunately we were too late for the roast dinner but both had a very nice lunch. The pub is very nice and cosy inside and the staff were very friendly too.

This place is the perfect family country pub, great food, service and atmosphere. Try the rump steak and home cooked chips, worth a bit of journey in the car trust me.

Had the most wonderful Sunday lunch with the family over the weekend!! Fabulous baked Brie as a starter and a roast fit for a king which I sadly couldn't finish. Lovely staff and and a very friendly atmosphere!

The food at the New Inn was extremely nice and enjoyable, however there was a long wait between the starters and the mains. But they were busy so it was slightly understandable. Everybody's food was very nice and the portion sizes were very good! The...More

We turned up here expecting regular pub food, but it turned out to be a cut above! The food was excellent and the pub itself cosy with good atmosphere. Also good value.

Description
The New Inn is a Traditional Village inn serving great food and real ales to both the local community and guests from further afield. We offer a great range of meals, with ingredients locally sourced, complemented by Palmer's Reals Ales and some great wines. We have a bar area and a separate restaurant, both with roaring log fires. The outside area has a large lawn for lazing on those summer days. Children and well behaved dogs are very welcome, and we have a seperate childrens menu.
