We ate here today with our young daughter. I found the atmosphere to be nice and relaxed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Selection of food is good. The food we tried (even the kids' menu burger!) was delicious. Changing facilities for the baby were easily accessible and clean, and the restaurant itself had a very kid-friendly vibe which is... I recently booked a table in this restaurant for Sunday lunch for a special family occasion and came away feeling very let down. Given all the publicity that Jimmy generates by his appearances on TV and the reputation he has cultivated for promoting rare breed animals, especially pigs, we arranged to eat in his restaurant with the intention of sampling... I have wanted to visit here for years so after a four hour drive from our home address we arrived to discover there Easter holidays in this region had broke up a week earlier than ours and was swarming with children. (The farm was very popular we would of paid to visit it had it been not so busy) Luckily... More

The food was ok although there could have been more of it. My friend luckily ordered some bread otherwise we would have left hungry. The addition of some sandwiches would have been good. We were not very impressed although judging from the number of children present they must to a comprehensive kids menu. Probably won't be back for lunch.

After visiting the farm with family and friends we found that the entry fee was pretty costly for what is actually there. We have been to many other farms where the entry free was half that amount and many more animals available to see/touch and feed. We decided to have lunch, we ordered 4 children's meals and 4 adult meals... More

We visited the butcher shop on Sunday for the first time. We went to get some BBQ meat and came away with sausages, steak, burgers and ribs. Little Dave's customer service was second to none. He re-educated us on the best way to cook steak (straight out of the fridge) and was friendly and helpful. The meat we bought was... More

This is my first visit to the restaurant. Service wasn't with a smile and took 20 mins for coffee and cakes to arrive. I'd forgotten that a friend had told me to avoid scones! So dry and after taste of baking powder. Toilets were dirty and dated, I decided not to use them.

We went on a Saturday lunchtime and pre-booked and am glad we did as they were busy. The service was very good and the food to a very good standard. We had our 3 yr old grandaugter with us and they did a very good child's menu.
