Dining here feels like you are at a friend's house. There were 2 tables in the dining room and several red couches. The food was good, we loved the dessert and it was reasonably priced. Very friendly owner. I would recommend booking as there are not many tables.

We visited for dinner with friends who had already discovered this fab place. We had a generous helping of a selection of starter dips with homemade bread, followed by soup (my picky son had 2 helpings), followed by a bit of all 3 main courses and all 3 desserts! Soup, mains & desserts are served as a buffet-style offering so... More

We had a great evening and thoroughly enjoyed Mariannes buffet night. The puddings were particularly tasty and all far too tempting. We were greeted by a warm welcome as ever. Thanks very much.

we were pleasantly surprised by this lovely little place! We had a very warm welcome despite them being busy with a big family pre wedding meal. Friendly service and a lovely home cooked evening meal! The coffee shop does not have a licence but we were encouraged to bring our own bottle of wine.

Welcome stop for wonderful Coffee. Declined the cakes as I have over indulged lately but the selection looked wonderful.

We had booked to enjoy the special hot buffet and were able to take our own wine with us. The meal was outstanding, lots of courses and choices, and we were made to feel very welcome by Mary Ann. It was excellent value for money. Thank you so much.

We stopped here on our way to our accommodation and found a good coffee shop that served a good home made soup. We just had the soup, coffee and cakes but they do offer a 4 course dinner on a Friday and Saturday night that we didn't get a chance to sample.

Excellent fresh food and a good selection. Staff were helpful and able to accommodate and deal with intolerances and allergies professionally. Highly recommended. Good coffee too.

Had some beautiful home made soup, complete with home made rustic bread. Lovely homely ambience in an old converted schoolhouse. Very friendly welcome from the proprietor. Excellent knowledge of all ingredients, which is very important to me as I am dairy intolerant.
