A nice and very friendly country pub. The food was good and although my granddaughter was late getting there they were not fazed out about it and we're very kind. I had phoned up to see if I could get my wheelchair through the door and they said yes I could but when I got there I could not get... More

Myself and 4 friends went for Sunday lunch! Well if that's what you can call it! The pub is a sweet place however that's where the positives end. The macaroni cheese in the photo was just curdled water, chips hard the food was the worst I'd ever eaten all swimming in fat and just the pits. I told the waitress... More

I can't remember going out to eat and being served by someone in such an amateur manner. Ordered drinks from the bar and then sat down to eat. Waitress came to us and had no idea what the special were and how they were served. We asked for mustard for the steak and it took an age to arrive and was... More

Ok where do we start, arrived and started ordering drinks, to be told they have no lager on tap, fair enough, so what lager do you have in bottles ...... None. Having ordered a coke we were handed the menus, they were tatty and had more stains on them than a teenagers bed sheets!, the ceiling above the table had... More

The New Inn is a slightly run down pub off the A422. The place was half full with locals and a few cyclists when we visited. To cut a long storey short, I had black pudding wellington and Lucy had the smoke salmon baguette. The portions turned out to be huge for around £6. They came with a non descriptive... More

The New Inn is good for food. The ales are well kept as is the cider. When the weather is good there's nothing better than strolling to the inn for a drink in the garden.

On our way down to Worcestershire recently, my parents & I stopped here for lunch. It is a very nice pub, the lady in charge who served us was very pleasant & smiled plenty. The beer was well kept (Black Sheep Ale, very nice indeed) & the burger I ordered was delicious. All in all, it was excellent, I can't... More

Ordered the fillet steak for two plus bottle of house wine for £30 deal they have on Thursday night. Both my wife and I thought the steak was excellent and the Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon was was smooth and fruity. Loved the pudding too. Service was friendly and brisk and the place was buzzing with people. Great evening out.

The restaurant/pub is very nice and quaint. The food is ok, we have visited for both lunch and dinner. I would recommend more for a lunch than a evening meal. The service is adequate but nothing to write home about. Prices in the evening leave you wanting more.

I have inspected pubs professionally for years and all the signs are there as you arrive . Scruffy littered car park, uncut grass, beer kegs not tidied away. And so it continues landlords dog bone scattered on floor, no wine list typed up, no working coffee machine, heating not working and no fire lit, lumpy mashed potatoes, mouldy on inside... More
